Who's starting pre-nursing for an RN program this fall and what school will you be attending?

I start Aug 16th at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Va :coollook:

Hi there - 1st of all I totally agree with sddlnscp about the way to go about this thing. I am starting my last semester of pre-reqs this fall and am so glad I chose to go with the CC and the ASN (is what they call it). Some I have paid for myself - but I also have close to $3500 in student loans, too. My goal is to also get a BSN & Masters; however, I am choosing to find a job after the ASN and allow the employer to pay for the tuition! A lot of the big hospitals here in IN will do that. Just a thought!

Anyway - as I said, in my last semester of pre-reqs and it feels good! I will be taking Microbiology, 2nd level Psych (both on-line) and Advanced Physiology (on campus).

hello i start at tcc august 18th i am almost finished with pre-reqs i start a&p i at norfolk campus, my home campus is chesapeake. maybe we can meet sometime and study.

hi i transfered last year from mtc in sc. airport campus to tidewater community college in virginia. mtc has the best nursing school you are in good hands. good luck

i'm starting pre-nursing in the fall 05' too. i'm going to midland's tech in columbia, sc. i'm in a&p 1, mat 101, eng 101, col 105. spring a&p 2, psych 201, medical terminology, and nursing 115! can't wait to get started! this will be my second year of school, i was at charleston southern university my freshman year drowning in pre-pharmacy classes but decided to switch 2 nursing. and here i am. i'm 19 and ready to start sumthin good!!! good luck to you all! :balloons: :)

OMG - that's less than 2 weeks!! I'm starting my prereqs for my ADN at a community college in central Texas. I'll be taking prealgebra, general psych, and freshman english.

Good luck to you! I too will be starting this Mon. Aug. 15th at a community college in North Carolina. I completed a math course this summer and it went well. Just taking pre-rexs to get into the adn program then eventually hope to transfer to a university later on for RN to BSN. Chem. Eng. and a computer course is what I am up for this fall. How about yourself?

:uhoh3: I'm gettin' back to the grove of things after taking off 2 semesters - due to family obligations/crisis. I'm READY to buckle down!
