Who's starting pre-nursing for an RN program this fall and what school will you be attending?

I start Aug 16th at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Va :coollook:

:uhoh3: I'm gettin' back to the grove of things after taking off 2 semesters - due to family obligations/crisis. I'm READY to buckle down!

Classes:

A&P II & Lab

First Aid/CPR

Spanish 1001 (online)

Humanties Elective (online)

I also have to sign up to take my N.E.T. AGAIN. I made horribly low on the 1st attempt back in Feb. :angryfire

Good Luck to ALL! I've been going through my "Spring Cleaning/Organizing" mode around the house. :chuckle DH and kids think I've lost my mind!

What school are you attending now?

I go to TCC Virginia Beach Campus. I have Homsi For A&P I, who do you have?

My home campus is TCC Chesapeake this semester all my classess are at Norfolk, I have Pinkerton for lecture, and Fantaskey for Lab in A&P I, I can't wait to see how this works out. :uhoh3:

I start classes August 22 and will be attending Northern Oklahoma College.

I just decided to start school a week ago, but still got the classes I needed for my first semester.

This semester I'm taking Pshychology, Sociology and Biology.

I hope to take the History and Government prereqs next semester, as well as A&P. Then I just need to take Micro in the Summer and work in a phys ed class somewhere. (Can you believe they still require PE?)

The rest of my prereqs were transfer credits from when I went to college 23 years ago.

Hey all - I'm taking College Algebra, Chemistry and Sociology this Fall at Everett Community College in Washington, with the hope of getting my BSN at Univ. of Washington in a few years. I have three children under the age of 5, so say a silent prayer for me :)

I am finished with all of my pre-nursing/pre-req's, however I am starting nursing courses this fall!!!!! YEAH FINALLY!!!!!

I start August 22nd at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley in St. Louis, Missouri

I'm actually starting my last pre-requisite classes this fall. hope to be in the Nursing Program @ Baker College in Owosso, MI in Jan. Any suggestions from current nursing program students on how to handle the increased work-load? The last two classes I have to take are Pharmacology (yuck!!) and Holistic Healing.

Yay! I am starting my third semester of pre-reqs on August 29 at George Fox for my BSN. I am so excited, but nervous about my schedule. I am taking Micro, Nutrition, Ethics, Cultural Anthropology, Communications, and a life fitness class. Just looking at it makes me overwhelmed. I am also going to be working part time, I guess I won't be sleeping, but I'm used to that already. Oh and I have to take the TEAS test before October 1st, and CLEP out of college algebra before Oct. 1st also. Our application for admission is due Oct. 1st, and nursing classes will start in January. Wow, I have so much to do!! That's alright though, cause I'm excited!! :D

I heard that they are both great programs. For me though I plan on doing an RN to BSN program later so I really don't care (you know, diploma vs ADN). It came down to where I would get the most clinical experience (which I think is very important), so I'm applying to Sentara. I'm applying for the Fall 06 program, everytime I think about it I grin from ear to ear :yelclap: :yelclap:

I go to Southern Union State Community College. I've finished all pre-regs, I'm just waiting to get in the nursing program!!!!
