Apples and oranges, my friend. :D However, I'd rather take 10 NCLEXs than one CPNE! LOL

i would rather be dragged across carpeting tacks and dipped in rubbing alcohol than take the cpne again. having said that, the nclex was tough in that you will sweat it, read a million questions, take a prep course, and of course, pray, and you will still walk out of the test in haze going, "what just happened?". but yes, the cpne is much tougher.

Dude, I nearly spewed my coffee at that! LOL!!! Very true, though. Strap me to a fire-ant hill, but PLEASE don't make me take the CPNE again! :D

Ivan, you just cracked me up.

The boards were nothing. NOTHING.

You'll rock it, under a couple of hours, too.

Too funny, Ivan!

Ivan and Lunah are correct. NCLEX is nothing compared to the CPNE.

I'm not sure those two experiences can even be compared.....But Ivan, you're hilarious!

:yeah:Too funny Ivan!! I would rather have my toenails plucked out one by one than take the CPNE again. Still waiting for my ATT letter to take the NCLEX-RN. My official graduation date is 2/20!!

don't have any comparisons. have not done either. just wanted to wish you the best of luck, and sending warm calming thoughts, positive vibes and prayers your way. best wishes! traci

reading all of the replies made me laugh so much!! I did the CPNE and thought I would die of heart failure doing so.. The NCLEX was a breeze compared to studying for that and taking it.. good luck

Ha I like this thread. Personally I would rather have an intestinal parasite that itself has a horrible disease than have to go through the CPNE again!

OUgreen, the NCLEX was sooooo much better than the CPNE

The similarities are that you have to keep yourself calm and focused, it is basic nursing knowledge.

Look yourself in the mirror before you test and tell yourself you've studied hard, you know this stuff and you want to ace it!

Best of luck!!!!!!

I took my NCLEX at noon and my results were up on the BON the next morning. I hope you can find out your results just as quickly.
