  1. Hmmmm...I don't know....I tested in Albany, and folks either knew their critical elements and passed, or didn't know them and failed. I didn't really notice that anyone had any special leeway....
  2. You Can Do It!!! We're pulling for you!!!! Carm
  3. You're going to be great!!! Take a deep breath, you can do this!!!! We'll be waiting for your good news!!!!
  4. YAY!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! Another CPNE survivor to add to the ranks!!!
  5. I'm not sure those two experiences can even be compared.....But Ivan, you're hilarious!
  6. You can do it, T bone....we're pulling for you!
  7. I passed my CPNE as well, and have never heard of anyone dealing with a similar situation. I agree with Lunah, though, that no one will fail the entire CPNE for only one minor mistake. (Physical/Emotional Jeopardy I think is the only instance I can think of, besides acedemic dishonesty.)
  8. Congrats to you! You've earned it!
  9. You can do it!!! Positive thoughts your way, and have a safe trip!
  10. Wooo Hooo!!! Another GN!! Great job!!!
  11. Wow, Lunah....you're rockin' out!!!
  12. OK, I also just took the CPNE and passed using a modified rope technique.....mine wasn't twisted tight by any means, but it helped me to keep control of the gauze. When I went to the CPNE Lab practice thingie, they were teaching the flower method, which I could not figure out at all. I think the main idea is to not have your packing to tight, regardless of the method you use.
  13. OK, so far, so good.....it is the end of the second day. Labs are completed (whew, the IV push is hard!) and my first two PCS's were successful. I really appreciate the positive energy, I truly believe you are all helping! Thank you for all your support, I'll post again tomorrow with the final result!! Carm
  14. OK, so we got here yesterday without event....Albany streets are a bit hard to navigate, though....so I'm glad the flight from Cleveland was quick and painless :) I'm staying at a hotel right across from Albany Med and a very quick drive to St. Pete's. I'm all tucked in with my notes to practice lab stations. Please keep sending good vibes this way.....I really appreciate the notes and support! I'll update as I can (for all you breath-holders and finger crossers!!!) Carm
