I did not say all,lol I know in 2 other classes, people asked, and the prof said no. One can always ask......

Did they ask privately? I think that's the key

Oops sorry:(...and thanks for the Advice

Pm us for instructor questions.

Yep, as Prism says, read the announcement. If the announcements seem totally off the hook and this instructor seems crazy, do not post on the forum not even under the student roster. Quietly close out loud cloud and call your advisor and get switched.

O man they won't let me take Nursing research without Stats first... I guess I'm gonna take a additional week off and wait for the Spirituality with the instructor recommended by PrismRN. Ha ha... an additional week of vacation won't hurt anyone!

No clue..I don't interact with most people in my classes......And I look at CLC group projects different. I usually do very well on my papers and DQs....so a crappy CLC isnt going to matter, lol Don't get me wrong, I do my part and more......and have a 4.0 GPA, so I do care a bit about my grades, but so far have not lost any sleep over CLC projects, lol

You really do need the stats before research. It all makes sense once you get into research.

Hello and welcome Drodri555! I somehow had research first and am currently in Stats and I don't understand 90% of what I am doing! I did get an A in Research without having stats first. I am not sure how but maybe because I wanted a certain instructor for stats so they rearranged my schedule. I have spirituality next...

And I would have been lost in research without stats, lol.

It looks like you only have 10 posts on Allnurses. I think are required to have 15 posts or more to private message. Go post around for a while and try again.

So i have a few names to add to the list of dos and donts if anyone is interested, also i'm looking for suggestions with my next two instructors- Health Assessment and Concepts in Community and Public Health. And anyone have an overview of what to expect with these classes- I'll have a lot going on with studying and becoming certified and stuff in the home to knock out. I want to plan accordingly.

Thanks everyone for being so responsive and helpful!

Oh- FB group? anyone have a link they could PM me?
