Ritttenhouse Trial

Published

The Rittenhouse trial has begun in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The prosecution is presenting first, but apparently the defense argument will be self-defense. So a 17 year old travels out of state with his rifle to a demonstration because he fears for his life?

It's become clear that this case should never have been brought to trial, and only was for unethical political purposes.

Unethical?  How so?

I'll admit that I haven't closely followed the trial.  However, based on my recollection of the events at the time definitely thought there was more than enough to charge Mr. Rittenhouse.

I hadn't followed it to closely until this week.  If you view all the videos and heard the witnesses, who btw are prosecution witnesses, it's obvious it was shooting in self-defense.

It's unethical to prosecute someone for charges they clearly are not guilty of.

How so?  What exactly, in your opinion, justified shooting and killing two unarmed persons?

Well, did you watch the videos and hear the witnesses?

As I stated I am not glued to this trial as some seem to be, but have seen some video and read some of the testimony.

I'll ask my question again.  What exactly have you heard, seen, or read that justifies Mr. Rittenhouse shooting three unarmed men, and killing two.

No, militia doesn't sound anything like military.  And, as a retired Marine I find this comparison, as well as your "sounds scary" comment insulting.

Why don't you ask your retired Marine father what he thinks about this.

Oh. No sweat off his back. He's a Vietnam Veteran and we all know the vile disgusting names they were called by the demorats.  Baby killer as so on. A bit ironic with the late term abortion "for a woman's life" the same demorats are plugging now! Meh, just the usual hypocrisy from the tolerant left. . Doesn't even compare. Yeah and he's dead to so there's that.

P.s: I don't care if you are offended angry white man. Why don't you go shine Gen Milley's boots and talk about your "white rage"?  Then call China!

1st and 9th. The Walking Dead. Look it up.

Semper-Fi and thank you for your service.Thats what he would probably say to you if he was alive.

My condolances and apologies.  Had I known I would not have made that comment.

It's okay. You didn't know. I apologize because I probably would not have wrote something that rude if he was alive.  And he would not of been happy that I talked like that.

Who is charged with that in this trial? What has been deemed justified?

"In declining to bring criminal charges, Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley found that Sheskey was acting in self-defense because Blake was armed with a knife and he had resisted arrest despite multiple Taser shots".

The police officer that shot Jacob Blake, the incident that sparked the riot. No trial because no charges.

So you are deflecting to an entirely different topic. You must think that it's noteworthy that a police officer shot and killed and citizen and no charges were filed.  In reality, in the USA, police abuse and harm unarmed citizens with regularity and with impunity.  In reality, the police make effort to conceal the number of injuries which are directly attributable to violent police behavior in the USA. The country doesn't even collect accurate data from all policing agencies about violence or harm...the agencies are not required.

But you should start another thread if you want to talk about police shooting unarmed men.  This thread is about a scared teenager with ties to the proud boys traveling to another state to illegally carry a firearm and kill a couple of unarmed protesters.

I made a general reference to the incident that caused the riot in the first place. You directly asked me about what I was referring to. I told you. Now you have gone off of something you deemed off topic.  Or "deflecting " after you asked me to explain. I see y0u have tapped into your repetitive argument file and used the opportunity to state your opinion on something you have already asserted "defective".

Maybe I will start another thread. Perhaps on police shootings and behaviors associated with use of force in relation to how you act when being arrested. Or do not act.
