So, we really need a place to log the ridiculous reasons some kids have to get out of class and come see the nurse. You know, those pressing medical problems like, "my lips hurt." I had that one today.
Earlier this year I had a student come see me because she had a hair on her tongue!!
Somewhere there is a teacher giving these kids a clinic pass for these visits!
What are the crazy reasons to see the nurse at your clinic??
omg, I am always bustin' straps. And yes, it's the first thing I do when I get home, much to everyone's dismay.
I presume it looks like this?
There are no words - Dr. Zoidberg from futurerama he has no shell

You have cameras set up in my house?
2nd grader comes in with his pass....teacher takes the time to write out a nursing pass because.....student has itch on ankle. So....Ok I ask the student, what's the problem.....He replies "I swear Mrs. J, if I had 5 legs, they would all be broke right now."
Wait...What?! I would have paid to see the look on my own face as I desperately try to process this. I reply with "So the itch gone?" He pulls up his pant leg and scratched it....."yep, and no broken bones"
So confused
Middle School student (FF always has drama) came in, chief complaint, "the nerves in my right leg are shot." Me: please explain further
Student: my nerves are shot, fried, done
Me: why exactly do you think this?
Student: my right foot twitched 3 times today
Me: has this ever happened before?
Student: no, my nerves haven't ever been shot before
Me: well, I suggest you go back to class and we will just have to wait and see (after taking a few minutes to assess said leg, assessment was negative)
Student: wait and see for what?
Me: if you will need an amputation.
Student then hightailed it out of my office and hasn't been back since.
