I was fired, reported to board for diversion. recently accepted into an assistance program, just signed up with affinity however, account isn't active yet as they are waiting for paperwork from the board. I feel defeated before I even start this journey. isolated. ashamed and feeling so anxious about what will come next. any suggestions? currently out of work as I resigned from current position because of my restrictions. thanks for reading
Hi! First thing; don’t beat yourself up; Shame and guilt will swallow you whole if you let it. Trust me; I know! Second; walk the straight and narrow and do everything they ask if you. I know it stinks and is hard but it’s the only way. I didn’t and had to restart my 3 year contract over! Hold your head high and come to these boards for strength and support. Just know that even though our stories are different we are all in this together. ?

Knurse - did u have write ups while on probation? I just did and I’m worried.
Just needed to vent, but why does this monitoring program process take so long? I signed my contract early Feb this year and still haven't heard a word. I want to get started, this is brutal. I'm having a very hard time finding employment as I have told them during the interview that I will be in a monitoring program. trying to keep positive, but it sure is hard when faced with so much rejection. any other thoughts? I have tried contacting the program to find out when I can start, left voice-mails and emails but have not had any response. just really frustrated

I am very willing to commute. I'm not sure how long the narcotics restrictions are for, 6 mons-12 mons?
