reported to board

Published

I was fired, reported to board for diversion.   recently accepted into an assistance program,  just signed up with affinity however,  account isn't active yet as they are waiting for paperwork from the board.  I feel defeated before I even start this journey.   isolated. ashamed and feeling so anxious about what will come next.   any suggestions?  currently out of work as I resigned from current position because of my restrictions.   thanks for reading

Hello,

Myself and 3 other people who I have met so far in this journey all did the same thing you did.  We are all happily working as nurses again.  Unfortunately, we are in the monitoring program, but things are going well and I even just got accepted into NP school!  Hang in there.  It might feel rough now, but I promise it will get better.  If you need to talk more DM me!

Hi. What stage are you located? Are you employed by a hospital?

No, right now I am in Ohio but moving to South Carolina soon. I am not working currently feeing ashamed. Bit when I move, I want to work again in LTCs but not sure how to start.

I'm currently working in LTC.  Found a facility that was willing to work with me.   When applying,  just be upfront and honest about your restrictions and let them know all you have done and continue to do to prove you are worthy of employment.   good luck

I have unrestricted license with a reprimand (was ordered 3 hrs nursing ethics course). I am already anxious to even look for a job.

No I am working in Dialysis.  I could work in hospital at this point, but no real desire.  I am in the South on the East Coast.  Would prefer not to reveal exact state.
