Maybe frame it as a sort of PPE...?
Yesterday: teacher felt dizzy, asked me to check BP (normal, probably d/t stress and dehydration).
Little girl came in wearing a knee brace from home, state pain is 10/10, gave one tab ibu per consent from dad plus ice, never saw her again LOL
Two girls came for bandages for blisters on their heels - new school shoes!
One of my migraine teachers came in for tylenol.
Plus a few more random things... but... overall a REGULAR DAY!!
Oh and a lot of pads. Feels nice to select "feminine hygiene product" on my drop down bow, rather than opening up my COVID monitoring spreadsheet - LOL
Yes! I had the same yesterday! Ice for a student that worked out too hard in weight training yesterday, ice for a sore knee from baseball, "stomach ache" that was really just a feminine hygiene need. Seeing actual kids filled my depleted school nurse tank back up just a little. I think the students are starting to feel more comfortable and venturing in here for all their cute little ailments. That is the thing I've missed in all this!

ALL THE FEELS.
People - our school nurses are losing their everloving stuffing right now. We are asked to do so much more with so much less. Please be good to yourselves.
