Bummer! We had a very unexpected cancellation today because we unexpectedly got freezing rain overnight!

You guys in Indiana are getting all the snow days! Send some next door to Ohio!

No snow days, yet. Last year we had a ton. I'm glad, because now we get the Friday before Memorial Day off. Go away, snow!

I wish they would do this! But nope, unused snow days do not transfer. We had one day off due to freezing temps (-25, unusual for MA even in January and we have several kids that walk 1+ miles to school and do not own proper winter gear), but not much snow around here. Last year, we also had a ton.

I would like 1 big fat snow storm with a snow day. We don't get our unused days back either and I LOVE unplanned days off.

I am so hot right now and not in a good way. We were finishing up crisis team and the AP called and asked me a few questions about a student that we were looking at to be high last week. I was talking to him and he said great, I'll put you on the phone with the lawyer. didn't say whether it was our lawyer or the kids. The lawyer then tried to grill me about what I thought and my expertise in this. I reiterated that I did vital signs and wrote up my OBJECTIVE findings. The lawyer got frustrated with me and got off the phone. I was FURIOUS> How can you just stick me on the phone with "the lawyer" with no explanations? Are you kidding me???? Really hot right now. I am pissed. Glad the AP is across the street because I can cool off a bit before seeing him.

Ya know I was thinking that I was having a Blah kinda day...then I remembered, at least its not like last month when a kindergartener handed me his underwear full of diarrhea......My day can only go up now.

Well, I'm back.

Just spent the last 5 days with almost 100 10th graders on a college trip down south. We went to Goucher, U of Maryland, US Naval Academy, George Washington, Georgetown, U of Richmond, UVA, UNC, Duke and William and Mary.

They all got constipated. 15/16 year olds apparently cannot remember to eat fruits and veggies. And about 25 of us (yes, "us") got our periods.

Good times.
