If she really "owned" her role, she wouldn't have the chutzpah to monetize her negligence. Shame on the people who pay her.

It's essential reframing because it helps the negligent person and minimizes (obscures) what she did
The real issue isn't what she did, but what resulted from what she did - Mrs Murphey's horrific and completely avoidable death is the story, her actions are just the explanation

I committed a med error as a new APRN that ultimately led to death. That was many years ago but I still tell the story to new APRNs in the hopes they can avoid my awful mistake. I do not profit from this experience but I'm also fortunate to retain my job.
Perhaps this is what she hopes to do as well?
