Or, $7,500 if you just want her virtually. Good to know that negligent homicide is such a lucrative endeavor.

I don't think you're wrong. Although I understand the need for this type of technology I sometimes feel it has become a crutch for lazy nursing. It favors taking short cuts and reliance on machines not our own brains which are infinitely smarter.

Your comment made me Google this cruise. The cost is $2,499 per person excluding international flight. It's on the lower end of the actual cost of a 7-day Costa Rica cruise. Not all slots were full and this one-time event is now done and over with. It was not billed as a speaking engagement either.

Perhaps people can learn what signs to look for that's not a safe environment. People who kill people in drunk driving accidents speak to youth in hs. Etc. She admitted her mistake. Yes it was tragic. Nurses are so contradictory. Try having some compassion for others. Too much like burn her at the stake mentality.
I agree! She is helping by educating others. I've added an article that describes what she talks about. Also another by NIH about the incident
I've made medication administration errors twice and thankfully without fatality. I reported both times and received instruction from the provider. How many nurses in this community have made errors. One of my instructors in nursing school said she made an error and her patient died. She didn't get fired or lose her license. She spoke at all staff meetings about it...

She works for an organization which probably set her fee which other organizations are willing to pay. I have made medication errors twice. (without fatal consequences). How many in this community have?

Mrs Charlene Murphy's death was the result of negligence and abuse, as evidenced by a jury's verdict after reviewing the facts and receiving instruction in the law
the term "medication error" denies the facts and actions that caused Mrs Murphey's death
your narrative is emotional subjective speculation
it's also contrary to nursing ethics, competent practice and the concept of "just culture"
