I am reminded of Julie Thao an ex-RN who had tons of experience in OB and was even an educator in the unit. She committed a grave mistake that led to the death of a young woman whose baby did not get a chance to know their mother:  The Case of the Mistaken Injection. Julie was also trialed in criminal court and sentenced as a criminal but was later dropped.

Julie also did speaking engagements but she does not have much of an internet presence but I found her on a YouTube video and watched it. I gained some perspective from her experience hearing from her in the video. I understand some people would think it is unnecessary for her to speak.

Was Julie doing speaking engagements, asking for 10K?

I don't know how much she charges. I don't know if she is still doing speaking engagements for that matter. I'm sure Ms Vaught has cornered that market at this point. Personally, I don't really know what profit Ms Vaught is making. I feel it isn't my business. I watched videos with her for free.

?? No one ever claimed she was making money on You Tube.  She did organize a cruise in addition to collect from speaking directly to nurses.  A frickin' cruise!

yeop - and fwiw her fees are published and her appearances promoted so it's pretty easy to get a sense of what's happening

I think I'd rather work at Walmart than profit off of a tragedy that I caused. It's gross.
