If I had a dime for everytime I've heard someone say, "I'm allergic to toradol, ultram and darvocet," "the only thing rthat ever works for me is that... oh what's the name of it... oh I'm in so much pain I can't think of it right now but it starts with a D"
Used to work with a guy that would tell people upon discharge that the doctor had written them a Rx for di-law-bid... dolobid, an NSAID but made it sound like dilaudid.

LOL! how interestingly evil... :lol2:
I know what you all could say for those who can't remember the name of the medication, but it starts with a "D."
Say, "I know exactly what you are talking about and yes, you're right, it's absolutely good stuff and I'll get as much as I can right away."
Come back with a syringe of Toradol (which IS really good stuff). When they ask, say, "I got the medication which starts with a 'T.' Here's your Toradol!" When they start to yell, say, "Oh!! You said it started with 'D'? I thought for sure you said, 'T.' Sometimes I get my 'T's' and 'D's' mixed up, and you don't want me to mess up your medication, right? So let's take this stuff I already have for you. Down the hatch (or trousers)!"

Just came across this website by an ER doc

It has other interesting things; but, I though all would appreciate this one.
