I really like the show. Plus it is based off of a british show and their comedy is far more dry than ours. I think the second episode was better though. I will definately be tuning in especially since Boardwalk Empire is over I need something to do with my Sunday nights =)[/quote']Homeland is almost over too :-(

I was just wondering if anyone else had seen the new HBO show "Getting on", and what you thought about it. There are some funny moments, but mostly I just feel sad. I think I feel sad because to me, the show is supposed to be a farce, a dark comedy of aging and the way society and healthcare deal with it, but the situations ended up mirroring reality a bit too closely. The red tape, politics, ego, hierarchy, and working conditions are on display. I think it shows a rather ugly side of nursing, but I end up liking the show anyway. Any thoughts?
