I just got my grades today and while I got an A in all of my classes, I was really just waiting to see what my Anatomy grade was going to be which was an A. I really had no idea what to do when I saw it lol. I had given myself a limit of getting a B+ in that class before the semester started and I got a little discouraged when I failed the first test with a 64 because you know those "wonderful" classmates who are all "if you can't handle anatomy, how can you handle nursing" So I worked my butt off the rest of the semester studying/memorizing/taking pictures and didn't get anything below a 90 on the next four tests. I had an A- before the final and thought I'd actually stay at that grade because I wasn't confident that I did that well on the final since it was a little difficult but I must have done good enough.
I'm thrilled I kept a 4.0 for the semester but honestly even if I hadn't, getting an A in anatomy would have been good enough for me.

Nice work! My grades for the fall semester don't come out until January 6th but I'm hoping for an A as well. I didn't realize how difficult the tests would be and I got a low B on my first exam. Luckily the lab portion was relatively easy (ended up with a 106 avg thanks to extra credit) so my average should fall somewhere in the low 90's.

My advice would be to devote adequate time to studying. Do not fall behind. Spend time EVERY day going over the course information. Anatomy is typically learned through repetition....at least that is what worked well for me. Good luck!

That's great news! Congrats. Especially since you started off low and worked your way up. I got an A as well - started off strong and fizzled a little at the end, but it was enough to keep me afloat.

Congrats! That's awesome! I only hope I can manage an A when I take A&P. I'm starting Micro in the Spring and if I can begin that class with an A, then there's hope for A&P I and II.
Great work! :-)

Alot of studying. I found that the lab exams were much easier than the lecture exams. So if you do happen to get a low grade on one of those exams, make sure to make it up with the lab portion. All of my lab grades were higher than my lecture grades so I think that's what saved me. That and my professor knew I was working my butt off so I think she felt that I really deserved an A.
