I know st joes in OC is only hiring 2 new grads into postpartum. Not so sure bout l&d but usually 2-4 max

Do their LA locations tend to have more spots for postpartum or L&D?

Hey Diana, I applied to L&D and postpartum at both OC and LA. I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet but I was contacted yesterday by an HR recruiter asking for my preference between PHS or SJH.

Hi, I am not a new grad. I applied for the fellow. They had some technical difficulties during my interview. I was asked 4 questions, 2 of which are clinical questions. Just be yourself. I was told that they are trying to look at your critical thinking.

They emailed me with a link to schedule a video interview. I applied for mother baby & l&d!

Very nice !! Congratulations! Did you apply for both the OC and LA locations ? Or just one of them ?

I applied for both but as I said before I can’t seem to get the LA person to respond after they told me to email them haha. I’m also internal at st joes Orange so I might’ve heard back early because I bypassed the screening process.

Okay got it !! Thanks for getting some more background information. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since a recruiter asked for my preference and I haven’t heard anything back yet and I’m starting to sweat LOL ?

Hmm. I applied to Tarzana as my first preference location and for units I put ICU, PICU, and NICU. Haven't heard anything from a recruiter at all. Will they send rejection emails?

I preferenced Tarzana as well! Haven’t heard from anyone yet.
