Providence TIP January 2022 (Los Angeles/Orange County)

Nurses Residency

Published

Hi all,

Starting this thread before the Jan '22 cohort application opens up today (hopefully soon!) I have all the required documents ready to submit, patiently refreshing and hoping the link to apply pops up soon. Let's all connect and keep each other updated on our application process. Good luck to everyone! :)

Hi Diana,

The Providence TIP application just opened up today. I was part of their TIP program two years ago. The application window is only open for a few days. If anyone would like to apply using my link: http://m.rfer.us/STJHSMnTHyM I can try to get you an interview with my manager. If you have questions feel free to shoot me a message.  Thanks and good luck!

What required documents do you have?

Hi!! I am also applying for this program. I am from out of state and am taking my NCLEX next week. Hoping this won't deter anyone from my app if I submit without it being done. I didn't realize the application was only open a few days maximum?

Also wow- so kind of you. I would love to take you up on that. Which Providence Hospital/what unit do you work on?

Hi Murphnurse,

You can still apply without having your RN license just make sure you do pass the exam before your hire date. I applied without having mine and it was OK.
I work at St Joseph’s Orange, CA. in the medical telemetry unit.

Good luck on your NCLEX!

I'm also applying without my license! My test is next month. I just completed the text interview earlier. Hopefully the hiring process moves quickly!

Diana,

Good luck! I am trying to use my referral link: http://m.rfer.us/STJHSMnTHyM so that I can try to get the people that use my link an interview. I hope it’s a smooth process!

I was applying and noticed that as I saved my application as a draft it said the application window doesn't close until October 12.. Someone earlier said the application was only open for a few days? I was wondering if they close their app after a certain number of applicants or?

I take my test next week and think it could be better to submit with an active RN license instead of submitting today without it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I don't think having an active license while applying matters as long as you have it before the start date! I personally think it looks better to apply sooner than later.

they're asking for "Three references; one from a clinical instructor on school letterhead (for newly graduated RNs), one from a previous and/or current employer and one personal reference." Does this mean letters of reference or just a list of references?

I was going to submit actual letters for each, but someone who has already been accepted to the program would have a more qualified answer!

Hello everyone ?
I tried applying to all locations individually but it seems to be only one application for all the locations. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?
