Hi all,
Starting this thread before the Jan '22 cohort application opens up today (hopefully soon!) I have all the required documents ready to submit, patiently refreshing and hoping the link to apply pops up soon. Let's all connect and keep each other updated on our application process. Good luck to everyone! :)

The Providence TIP application just opened up today. I was part of their TIP program two years ago. The application window is only open for a few days. If anyone would like to apply using my link: http://m.rfer.us/STJHSMnTHyM I can try to get you an interview with my manager. If you have questions feel free to shoot me a message. Thanks and good luck!
Thank you. Very generous of you to share.
I’m trying to use the link but I have a question.
I’m a current employee at providence LCOM in Torrance. When I apply, am I consider an internal candidate? I’m asking because I’m having trouble finding the Azure My Apps Portal
Actually yeah because I just checked my application and it only lists the LA locations and none of the OC ones. It says “Providence is calling RN Residents (new graduate RNs) to our Southern California Clinical Academy Transition into Practice (TIP) Residency program at six of our Southern California Providence Hospitals and Hospice including: Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, and Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance and San Pedro. This is the only Residency application for all Los Angeles area Providence Medical Centers. This TIP cohort hire date is in January 2022.”

Hi. You are correct. There should be an application open for the LA locations and one separate application for OC locations. But perhaps, this time, OC is not hiring any new grads, or they don't have enough open positions to go through the hiring process. In the previous cycles, there were two separate ones, and we had to apply twice; once to the LA application & once to the OC one. IIRC the LA one opened one day earlier than the OC (LA opened on Mon morning, and OC opened theirs in the middle of the Mon night.)

Hi. Yes. They mean actual letters (like a recommendation letter.) And your school one must have your logo/emblem (on the letterhead.) I had to ask each of my references to send me a pic of their letter. One sent a scan, another send a PDF, and the last one send a phone pic.

IIRC it says somewhere on there that candidates should apply as earliest as possible. I remember something like "we take this (applying early) as a sign of your desire/eagerness" to join Providence/St. Joe.
Maybe they took that out from their TIP website? I know it was not stated on the application page. But it was somewhere in the About the Program or Applying to TIP .......
I applied with an active license. So I cannot add to that aspect.
Good luck on your application!
Hi all,
**If you use my referral link, message me privately and I can guide you thru the interview process and beyond**
The link I posted: http://m.rfer.us/STJHSMnTHyM is for all the Orange County locations, I’m unsure about the LA ones.
To answer some questions, you don’t need an active RN license when submitting the application, but you do need to have it by the start of the program in January 2022.
For someone that works currently for Providence, I don’t know for sure, but I would imagine it’s an internal application.
thanks
For the letters of recommendation, I didn’t have one from a previous employer, my previous employers weren’t completely healthcare related and I wanted to submit my application as soon as possible.
I submitted two letters of recommendation from my clinical instructors, both with letterheads and one from my preceptor. Does anyone know if they have any flexibility on your letters of recommendations?
