Providence TIP January 2022 (Los Angeles/Orange County)

Published

Hi all,

Starting this thread before the Jan '22 cohort application opens up today (hopefully soon!) I have all the required documents ready to submit, patiently refreshing and hoping the link to apply pops up soon. Let's all connect and keep each other updated on our application process. Good luck to everyone! :)

Hey, no prob! She applied to the new grad program and applied to CC and ED!

Awesome ! Thanks for the heads up, I’m glad to hear that someone had already seen some type of update ! Let us know if you hear anything else ?

Has anyone who applied to any LA locations heard anything? The application was supposed to close Oct 12 I believe but when I review my app it says: "Job Status: Active (Accepting Job Submissions)" so maybe they extended it?
Also for my submission status it just says: "We are reviewing your application - Updated: Sep 29, 20201"

Anyone have any updates ? LOL

Just hoping they'll call for interviews soon..

Not yet!! Same! Status hasn’t changed since 9/28.

Nope :( My submission status still says "We have received your submission." – Updated: Oct 1, 2021

I am very doubtful that they would have any updates when applications are still active or right after applications close. I think it will be at least a few weeks after applications to close for them to sift through and pick out people for interviews

Hey guys,

I saw this post in a fb group I'm in. Looks like they are scheduling interviews.

Are we sure this isn’t for the fellowship ?

Never mind ! I just saw the post on facebook, it looks like they have begun reaching out. At least it’s good to know they are quickly calling people for interviews.

No worries, thank you for responding! Someone on this thread said that the application asks for three letters of recommendation, but I couldn't find it within the application requirements. I'm currently waiting on two letters of rec from a clinical instructor and my program director, and I was wondering if you'd suggest I wait until I receive the letters before I submit my application or if you think the application would stand strong enough without.

Also, do you happen to know if the behavioral health unit has openings? I saw that it was in the specialties that may be included, but it wasn't in the job application itself. Behavioral health/psych is the specialty I have the strongest interest in.

Hi, apologies for the late response. I believe when I submitted my application, I sent it in with the letters of recommendations. If there are required items, it's best to complete the application with them for better chances of having your application reviewed. From my understanding, most of not all units are looking for new grads. I believe this will be the biggest cohort of new grads that will be coming into St. Joseph's Orange.

If anyone hears back for mother/baby or L&D can you please share ?

thank you ☺️

Hi guys, I applied for the LA tips program and was emailed to schedule a phone interview first with the recruiter. Not sure if anyone else got this but my other friend got an email to schedule a video interview so I’m kind of confused.

Hi so for either of the programs there is either a video interview or text interview that are self paced. Did you complete one of these and then get an email for a phone interview ?
