  7. HELP!!!

Chamberlain is absolutely not a bad school. It may be a for profit but trust me I've done my research on the school and it's absolutely fine to go there. It's a bsn program and their nursing curriculum is no different than any other school. And yes, ...

  9. Being accepted... Is it a sign?!?

SOO I applied for an accelerated nursing program that incorporated the preqs I have left (a&p and micro). I've been waiting to hear back from them and decided today that maybe I should just take a&p with micro in the fall at my local communit...
  10. Being accepted... Is it a sign?!?

It seems like starting the program would be the obvious choice!!! And trust me I really want too!!! But I'm leaning towards the other options. I could literally save myself around 24,000 dollars. I understand taking out loans for school & my drea...
  11. Being accepted... Is it a sign?!?

Yeah I totally agree, but there's more to it! Let me explain.. If I take anatomy & micro this fall at a local comm college, I'm eligible to "graduate" with my associates because I've been in school for like 4 years haha between going to a univers...
  12. Being accepted... Is it a sign?!?

  13. Being accepted... Is it a sign?!?

Thank you all for the fast replies!!! You're so right! Now that I've finally been accepted all I can think about is 1)holy crap, I finally did it!!! And 2) now to take out loans to afford the 9,000 a semester!!! Hahah. Honestly, I'm prepared for it. ...
  14. Confusion... Help?! :)

Sooo I'm a little confused about why if you attend certain schools, like a private college, to obtain your bsn, you have to stay with that school in order to get your masters because your credits won't transfer over to a different school. I'm confuse...

  19. "For-profit" schools... As bad as they say?

As long as you do your own research regarding the school and their accreditations... You should be fine! Be your own advocate! I felt the very same way about the school I applied to, chamberlain college of nursing. It's a for profit school as well bu...

Thank you!!! Your post was helpful! I am taking my exam today so hopefully I do well :)
  21. Feel like giving up

Chamberlain isn't a last resort option, it can be the best option for a lot of people. I'm 21, almost done with my pre-reqs. I have an overall GPA from SDSU of 2.98, which I agree isn't the best and a GPA from a comm college of 4.0 for 2 semesters. D...
  22. Chamberlain

Hi all! I'm meeting with an admissions advisor on Monday for the Chamberlain School of Nursing in Chicago. I know the school is fairly new but what has everyone heard about this school??
  23. Chamberlain

Yeah that's exactly how I felt too! But it's nationally & regionally accredited... Also accredited by the commission on collegiate nursing education (all of these my cna teacher, who is also an RN, told me to check if they were accredited with) &...
