My husband and I are considering a move to Cleveland, Akron or somewhere in between. I am set to start pre-reqs here in Richmond, VA this fall. Once I am done with them I can be placed on the 24 month waiting list for the ADN program. What are the...
Does it matter where you get your ADN? Do hospitals care where an RN received his/her education? I am thinking as long as you pass boards it doesn't matter where you were trained. The waitlist at the local CC is so long here just like everywhere else...

Have you thought about one of the community colleges? John Tyler offers a ADN and J. Sargant Reynolds offers both LPN and ADN. I am going to John Tyler and will probably spend no more than $10,000 total for my ADN and pre-reqs for BSN. John Tyler has...

I'm pretty sure that most if not all Universitys will not accept courses from a non-accredited school. That being said I believe that if they became accredited after you graduated the accreditation would be retro-active to all classes that graduated....

Thanks for the info!! I think I am going to forget about Nutrition for now and just focus on the other 3 classes. Casi- the reason I was thinking about taking Nutrition is because it is required for the RN-BSN program I am planning to do after my ADN...

I don't believe that your aid will be affected this year. You should speak to your schools financial aid rep and explain everything. Especially if at the time of attendance your family income will be less! Congrats!

I took the NET last Saturday and felt well prepared. I used The Net, The Hobet, and The Help study guide and a few websites posted here. I, like most people, was more concerned about the math until I read here that you need to watch out for the readi...

Setting small goals really helps! That is what I am doing. My first goal was to lose 10lbs and the second one was to lose 20lbs. My new goal is to lose 10% of my body weight. Good luck to you!
