We never use them in foleys.we do ha d CAUTI. But now we are at zero. we encourage each other to use hand wash before and after procedures.We use whatsapp ,the code to remind staff to do it, a polite one. Always make sure that culture is done wheneve...

Each time u have to use new catheter.but yanker no need.after use u will irrigate it wilth irrigation saline . tracheostomy suction is a sterile one ,not to introduce organisms
