Let's compare and contrast the two men, shall we?

True that...that fellow needs an army of loyalists to explain what he just said after every public comment.

Nah. They weren't spying on the Trump campaign but the Trump campaign was real involved with Russians that they were interested in. That's a nuance that gets lost in the propaganda as regurgitated by apologists...

8/18/2020 A Republican-led Senate panel's report on Russian election meddling threw a wrench into Trump's conspiracies. Here are its biggest findings.

  • The Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released the final installment in its years-long investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election.
  • Broadly, the bipartisan report confirmed much of what the former special counsel Robert Mueller found in the FBI's Russia probe. In some cases, it went further than Mueller did.
  • Overall, the report threw a wrench into President Donald Trump's efforts to portray the Russia probe as a partisan "witch hunt" and a "hoax."

Tuesday's release by the Republican-led Senate panel also threw a wrench into President Donald Trump's efforts to portray Mueller's probe as a partisan "witch hunt" and claims of Russia's interference as a "hoax" intended to undermine his presidency...

Perhaps the biggest finding was buried in a footnote more than 100 pages into the report: "The Committee's efforts focused on investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election. However, during the course of the investigation, the Committee identified no reliable evidence that the Ukrainian government interfered in the 2016 U.S. election."...

Hawkins does support a $15/hr minimum wage, indexed to inflation.

I'm not even republican and I'm voting for Trump. Compared to Biden I just can't do it. He has been pathologically lying since the 80's. He is like a bobble head doll with every person playing him like a puppet master pulling all the strings at this point and age. He is just plain old! And I like having rights, and choices. He is too far far left to consider. I like more in the middle. And even though Trump is republican he isn't that far right in his beliefs. He sits right center in most ways. I like owning a gun, I like sending my kids to charter schools and homeschooling. I like the choices to do that. Biden and his groupies want to remove any chance of society having choices that they want. And I wouldn't judge anyone on their ability to do anything for Covid. That has become a state problem, the states are who dictate what protocol and criteria they want to make and it's crazy. So if anyone is truly using that as ammo they are just being hard headed. People need to stop simply voting for one side of the other based on I am republican or democratic. I would love to remove a states predetermined political side also. It should just be pick someone based on what they preach. Not how well they swindle you, sweet talk you or straight out lie. But the real plan is for people. After all they are supposed to be serving us people. If we could get all the lobbies and special interests and unions removed, people and society have a real shot at justice and equality and freedoms again. It's amazing what these lobbies do and the power they have. Especially the pharmaceutical aspect, WOW! just WOW!! The fact they could have that much power to make laws and dictate our society that much and we allowed it. No other country has drug companies pricing them, like we allow. Let alone have zero recourse to make them lower prices and cap it. You guys can debate semantics all day long on political sides and get nowhere. What we should be discussing is how we as people allowed the crimes to keep happening at this level? How did these politicians develop that much authority and power and goodness never lose it. Even the president eventually steps down from office. We need a time machine, go back and rewrite some of this bogus crap in congress and our constitution. And get rid of the darn media already. Does nobody any good. Out of everyone the media lies the most, both sides. It's sad when you need to fact check every site and every story run in a news outlet or paper. Then fact check it again for recirculating false data. I just stopped watching tv or listening to news, it's all negative all the time! The minimal amount of free time I have, I spend watching a comedy or a nice family movie. I'd rather watch Frozen 2 for the 500th time then that crap. Heck I wanted to watch the new Bill and Teds 2 movie coming out just for nostalgia purposes, I'm just sad George Carlin died and won't be in it, as they were able to get most of the original cast for the second run.

@Chunkybubblz3,

Paragraphs please. Had to double clutch my brain to follow that post.

You had a lot of highly dubious claims straight outta gop talking points, but let’s look at a couple - “And get rid of the darn media already. Does nobody any good. Out of everyone the media lies the most, both sides.”

What!?! Are you advocating eliminating the press? That position violates every principle on which this country was founded, starting with the 1st amendment. And how would news be disseminated? Please explain your brave new world.

You wrote “We need a time machine, go back and rewrite some of this bogus crap in congress and our constitution.” Flesh that out a bit. What exactly do you object to in congress and the constitution?

@Chunkybubblz3 you totally lost me when your comment started with the notion that you couldn't vote for Biden because you believe that Biden is a pathological liar. That comparison alone, leading you to Trump, prevented me from even slogging through the rest of the very very long paragraph. It's impossible to compare the two men and consider Biden the bigger liar of the two. Starting with such an obvious fabrication diminished the possibilities of sucking an unsuspecting reader in...

In another thread posts accused Vice President Biden of being a racist because in 1973 he opposed forced school busing. He was for voluntary busing. I don't know whether it would have improved our country or not.

I never attended a segregated school. Even in Oklahoma the one elementary and one high school had Native American, Negro, and White students. In first grade we did have three classes segregated by reading ability. Because I could read already I was in the "Blue" class. Several of my fellow students began the year complaining about the "Colored boy" being in their class. By Christmas vacation he was being chosen first for teams. Some boys always played with him at recess. My Grandma said those friends parents only likes White people. His friendship saved those boys from racism. One became my same age Catholic school cousin's best friend.

BUT Joe Biden a hateful racist? I am almost as old as he is and remember a lot. He may or may not have been wrong about busing, but was never a racist. AND President Obama and V.P. Biden were responsible for saving GM & Chrysler, some of our major banks, bringing health insurance to millions of Americans, tracking down and killing Bin Laden and hundreds of Al Qaeda leaders. Biden led the efforts to pass the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act and the Violence Against Women Act, they were responsible for bringing our economy back. Biden crafted the Federal Assault Weapons ban, which expired in 2004. Biden co-sponsored the Violence Against Women Act.

Joe Biden on South Africa apartheid in 1986 just weeks after I earned my RN. He was later instrumental with many fellow senators in overriding President Reagan's veto of the Sanctions against the apartheid regime.

July 23, 1986: Joe Biden's fiery exchange with U.S. President Ronald Reagan's Secretary of State George Shultz on apartheid in South Africa.
