President Biden thread

Published

Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Do you think that mentioning a fabricated mental health condition, used by the conservative right wing as an insult, (which most closely resembles a projection of the Trump delusion that has bewitched the GOP) adds credibility to your already incredible concerns about Biden? It is true that the GOP pledged to obstruct Obama in every possible way while criticizing everything about his presidency...right down to the color suit that he wore.  Oh the hypocrisy from the people who can't admit that Trump is a dangerous liar.

Credibility?  LOL.  Do you remember this recent statement you made?

"I'm just going to just keep posting current events and news that I find interesting or somehow worth reading. "

What happened?

That's an oddly irrelevant question.

Biden did a lot of bragging about vaccination numbers that he had little to do with.  I know first hand that vaccinations given have drastically declined the past few weeks.  I'd like to know what the administration is going to do to get that back on track.

I'll tell you what doesnt help.  A limited audience of a vaccinated group.  And, then the scene below at a outdoor rally.  I'm sure many of the unvaccinated are saying "why get a vaccine if I still have to social distance and wear a mask?  Look at our vaccinated president freaking out about nit finding his mask"

"Of those polled, 78% view what is going on at the border as a crisis, compared to only 19% who believe otherwise. CNN also determined that 65% of voters disapprove of how Biden is handling the situation, which contrasts sharply with the 29% who approve."

Biden is being criticized for his missed opportunity to reduce vaccine hesitancy.

I would agree thought that since about 5% of Democrats say they won't get the vaccine vs. 29% of Republicans that the campaign against vaccine hesitancy would be better led if it includes Republicans.  Republicans aren't going to listen to Biden much.  Consider that Beerman has expressed concerned about his lies and corruption.

Apparently Trump has been advised to help.  But it's not likely he will.

Really?

You might be inching toward admitting that you intentionally ignored Trump's dangerous lies. You've not acknowledged Trump's corrupt incompetence as the CEO of the federal government.  Yet you are apparently troubled by the thought there might be a lie or some incompetence in the Biden administration.

It's hard to take that seriously.

So far we haven't heard much from conservatives in terms of actual policy ideas but we do hear a bunch of nonsense, hyped up fears over nonsense, lies about 010621, lies about election integrity and the need for private "audits", lies about the pandemic, and now brazen lies about racism in the USA.

But yeah, tell me again about the nefarious Biden administration.

You've made this point many times and really isn't it about time to stop and just go on to your question asking him to be specific?

Aside from that polling showing Biden has already achieved higher overall approval than Trump did his entire Presidency, it's not clear what specifically the Biden administration has done to cause the "crisis".  A policy, executive order, or just not being Trump.

Yeah...the vaccine reluctant are saying all kinds of weird and illogical things.  Oh well.  Cultish behavior is difficult to overcome without specific intervention.

"Freaking out"

Bwahahaha

CNN Poll

Looks like something for the republicans to be happy about eh?

Interesting that the didn't link the poll.   I wonder if this is it.   It also states

Quote

Most Americans, 64%, say they favor allowing refugees from central American countries to seek asylum in the United States, similar to the share who felt that way in 2019. There has been little change in the partisan split on this question: 82% of Democrats and 68% of independents favor allowing them to seek asylum, but just 32% of Republicans agree.

Considering we have covid, a shaky economy, and a border crisis and that 70 million people voted against him, it's no surprise to me that he isn't fairing as well at this point that other modern presidents.

I'm not certain why it's time to stop. Repeated nonsense deserves repeated correction. Biden isn't responsible for vaccine hesitancy and covidiocy, Trumpublicans are.  They started a covidiot fire and want to blame Biden that it's not out while they fan the flames.

Trump started the vaccine program.  No one said Biden is responsible for hesitancy.  The question is what is he going to do about it?

There were many articles stated that he likely would address this in his speech and apparently he didn't.

Probably not much he can do because people will be people, and like I said he needs Republicans to help.  But also Biden has been pro-vaccine and encouraging all along and still is.

Whattt? Do you mean to say that Trump wasn't deranged ????? He did those things of a sound mind ???

I beg to differ! Anyone who corners the market on hairspray and orange paint isn't operating with all his marbles! Like, have you seen that wrap around ???

Oh did you know that the tie was weighted to counter act the weight of the hairspray and wrap around ???? and prevent his head being pulled backwards ???

The answer remains; why is it Biden's responsibility to convince Trumpublicans to take Trump's vaccines? Why does Biden need to take special steps to address the conservative covidiots instead of republican political leaders? Why aren't they encouraging vaccination among their supporters?

As you have pointed out, Biden is consistently pro-science and pro-vaccination.
