President Biden thread

Published

Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Trump said he would remove the tree.  It has something to do with the tree's shallow roots interfereing with the rocks.  I'm not seeing Trump today.  Are you?  Do you think he allows just any reporter into Mar A Lago?  No, they are carefully curated to ask softball questions.  Why would masked men be coming for me?  Because of my solution to our problems.  Bidens bumbling never approached the degree of chaos we experience every single day.  His advisors weren't grifters, Fox news readers on steroids (I'm being charitable here to attribute his behavior to a drug rather than a lack of character or competence),  wealthy wives in the wrestling business, economic advisors stuck in the 80's,  anyone who would drag a dead bear into Central Park and arrange for vaccines to slowly disappear from the landscape.  a supplement salesman discharged from Columbia U.  in charge of CMS, and Dr. Grier, who will be in charge of the next vaccine study.  A guy who has lost his medical license.   No, it wouldn't be like that.  What Trump spends on the taxpayer's dime playing golf could prevent Medicaid cuts in several states.

The NPS is removing the tree for safety concerns.   As in it may fall over any minute.

Are you disputing that Trump is much more visible and accessible than Biden?

I missed what your solutions are that would lead masked men to come get you and ship you to El Salvadore.  Maybe you could enlighten me?

Some of your criticisms of advisors are valid, some off-base.  I'm not looking to debate them.  We'll have to see what the results are.

Trump could set a better example by not taking so many trips.   That wouldn't lead to solving any of Medicare's problems, however.

No one denied there was decline.  We simply compared Biden's decline to Trump's.  We compared Biden's cognitive function to Trump's.  Biden still comes out on top in those cognitive comparisons and he's not even president anymore.

Yes, it was denied in the threads several times.

Nah. The description and characterization of the decline offered by Trump supporters was denied on the regular and in multiple threads.

never mind/ lengthy rant removed

"A bombshell new book from CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios' Alex Thompson paints a damning portrait of then-President Joe Biden during the 2024 election, depicting a president with diminished physical and mental faculties that aides and advisers concealed from the public."

CNN is covering the story as well.

Seems to me nothing new or bombshell.  To me it's expected stuff or stuff we all knew and we talked about here. I distinctly remember talking about a cover up and Beerman agreeing with me.

How they let him run and ultimately lose the election is indeed scandalous, but we said that already.  When he dropped out people were criticized for abandoning him and now it's "you should have done it sooner".  Fun times.

Him running isn't what's scandalous.

What is scandalous is the cover up of how bad he was, and that we don't know who was actually running things.

I will allow you that.

I don't agree.  That people weren't able to talk him out of seeking re-election and allowed him to run is scandalous to me.

From what I've read people no one is saying he had dementia and couldn't function well enough on a day to day basis.  They weren't confident in a national emergency at 2AM he would be able to handle things.

At the end of the day, unlike what Trump and others would have us believe the country wasn't left in ruins and the Biden-Harris team have nothing to be ashamed of in that regard.

Hmm ... Back before the election when Trump's criminal behaviors were actually being addressed, the big maga narrative was the "Biden Crime Family".

Now that trump's rapidly deteriorating mental health and cognitive abilities is being recognized, maga's suddenly obsesses over Biden's mental state.

Funny how that works, innit? Maybe we should be looking at who's really running  the current administration.

It'll be interesting to see how the narrative changes as trump's massive corruption becomes more and more blatant. Wanna start a pool?
