Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Yes, we know that Trump commanded the US government to change those names.  What constitutional language grants the president to rename large bodies of water unilaterally?  The Gulf of Mexico does not exist within the boundaries of one country.

What constitutional language says the president can't? And why has it not been stopped? 

Judges too busy interfering with presidential orders involved with finding government overspending? Than taking this on?

Language is a slippery thing. Remember when Musk changed Twitter to X? The new name lasted about a minute. Now all I hear/read about that platform, it's still called Twitter.

Did Musk donate all those Tesla trucks?  No, we paid for them.  The money is still going from the taxpayer to Musk.

I've read he has 18 billion dollars in government contracts over time.  To be fair his company Space X has provided valuable satellite service for things like the weather and even the war in Ukraine.  

For me the issue is the power he wields right now.   I don't trust him and feel he doesn't care about the American people.  DOGE is a great idea but he's not the one.

Trump et al are now denying that Musk is running or in charge of anything except advising Trump.

Musk is a liar who peddles in disinformation.  

You have zero evidence that Musk has found either over spending or fraud.  There is no report of findings and forensic analysis.  Musk's Tweets aren't official.  The Musk DOGE team isn't in anyway qualified to do what he says they are doing.  None of them were even familiar with the coding language used in SS and that resulted in Musk making himself sound stupid.

There is fraud and waste (Remember Rick Scott here in Florida committed fraud) and I think in some ways the government is has been ineffective about weeding it all out.  If they've been ineffective, perhaps revamping the system is warranted, but firing people seems to be all they've done without a plan to weed out fraud and no statements or evidence about what kind of fraud they are talking about.
