Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

"During a press briefing on Tuesday, Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre, "How many more assassination attempts on Donald Trump until the president and vice president and you pick a different word to describe Trump, other than 'threat?’"
Jean-Pierre told Doocy she completely disagreed with the premise of his question, calling the way he asked it "incredibly dangerous" because Americans are watching."
So are you saying that Biden and Harris did not condemn the assassination attempts on Trump? Biden urged Congress to boost Secret Service funding in August.
With a quick internet search, the last time Biden called Trump a threat to democracy was 2022, Harris was 2019.
And I was curious about the bullseye comment cited by Crusades. It seems that Biden said this in a private call to donors. It was made public by media organizations: CNN and Politico. And it was posted on X by a GOP congressman and Megyn Kelley.

Don't know how you got that. What I most object to is the Press Secretary turning it around on the reporter and saying that asking the question was a dangerous act that may incite violence.

I hope you're not serious. Those of us that listen to what they say know they say it all the time. I believe Biden said it in his interview a few weeks after the debate. This after saying the rhetoric needed to be toned down.
2019 is interesting. Maybe I just don't remember, but I didn't think that line became popular until after the "insurrection".

Biden said that "Trump needs to be put in a bullseye " a few days before the 1st attempted assination . He also went on "angry old man rant" telling misinformation about Charlottesville and Project 2025 at the DNC. And describing Trump as a threat to the country.
Then perhaps he is claiming Harris and Biden didn't condemn the assination attempts Just like Trump didn't condem white supremist and neo nazis. Right ?

"Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday condemned political violence and said she was "deeply disturbed" by the possible assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump.
"As we gather the facts, I will be clear: I condemn political violence. We all must do our part to ensure that this incident does not lead to more violence,” Harris said in a statement, issued from the vice president's office."

Yes, according to Snopes.com, Biden said this in a private call to donors. It was then reported by media and GOP congressman Mike Collings. Do think they have any responsibility in broadcasting Biden's private remarks to the general public? I do.
And he later apologized.
I cannot see where Biden said Trump was a threat to democracy at the DNC. Can you provide a citation?

Well, I don't listen to Biden much; I don't care much for his style of speaking. Same with Harris. But apparently you do? Or do you hear his/her remarks repeated on your choice of media?
Perhaps you can offer some citations of them actually saying it, all the time.

Peter Doocy deserves whatever she dishes out. Someone could write a book of his stupid questions. Sorry you're having such an issue with black Haitian and gay.

Could you imagine if Trump on Jan. 6 told his supporters that the people certifying the votes are an "existential threat" then told them to "peacfully and patriotically eliminate them"? Or that those counting the votes "need to be put in a bullseye:?
Or could you imagine if 2 radicalized people attempted to assinate Biden? Or Harris?
Yes. Do not call us out on our radical violent speech and suggest that perhaps it had a hand in x 2 assinations attempts because asking questions make it unsafe" -

I didn't say she did.
However if she hasn't already, she will start back with the extremist commentary that led to 2 assination attempts in less than 9 weeks. Just like last time Biden " condemed" the 1st assination attempt. The left media has already started.
