Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

I'm sure there will be many differing opinions. I hope the moderators don't debate Trump for Biden again.
When did the moderators debate Trump for Biden? I bet you can link to an example of that? Was it the debate that Trump attended while sick with Covid or was it the debate where Trump couldn't control himself?

I feel sad when I think about all the people taken advantage of by Trump. His own family, contractors in Atlantic City that he refused to pay, customers of Trump University, fans of USFL football, fixed income donors who unknowingly signed up for monthly contributions, people he infected with COVID, Capitol police officers, donors to the Trump Foundation, undocumented workers at his resorts, property owners near his Scottish golf course, not to mention all the people who he has sexually assaulted. And yet, supporters can look blithely past all of that.
Anal openings like Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon are going to be running this country, and y'all are just fine with that.

If you are saying if the country will be like it was in in Trump's term, I am 100% okay with that. I enjoy no active wars, a good economy and a secure border. As well as having a person that unfavorable world leaders will at least think twice about crossing. Even if he tells lies.
As long as you are okay with Biden family exploiting him for power and the consequences of a weak feeble leader during the global war and unrest. A border crisis and a botched withdrawal from Afgansitan . Not to mention the alleged and out of context inappropriate behavior recorded in his daughter's diary. That was taken out of context that he took showers with her. Just make sure if you are black you vote Biden or you are not.

No active wars? Trump had US troops in Afghanistan and it was Trump's team who negotiated the US withdrawl in 2021 with the taliban. Trump invited them to Camp David, remember? Trump excluded the Afghanistan people's government representatives from the negotiations and then his Department of State under Pompeo's direction bottleneck the special visa process and created a huge backlog mess.
Biden's economy is better than Trump's by most metrics. Are you basing your claim on feelings?
The last bit of your comment was nothing more than cult world baloney.

Actually I'm basing my claim on how many people have endured in Trump presidency and Biden presidency. Perhaps people do feel they were better off under Trump and are not so much under Biden. Most notable the Ukraine war and Isreal War. Their grocery bills and morgage rates. How much more expensive it is to maintain their business. How Biden looks like a feeble old man.
I understand that you think people who have feelings and emotions are irrational, however you might not want to dismiss this as people generally vote of how they feel.
Even if not true, it's Bidens job to show them. He as of yet has only showed how weak he is.

I was thinking that as well. America currently isn't at war with anyone are we?
The Afghan War was ongoing during the entire Trump presidency. He made some false claims about casualties.

I'm not understanding your point about the Ukraine and Israeli war. Unless you mean that they wouldn't have happened under Trump? They didn't, so there is that.
There is a big disconnect between how good the economy is and how people feel about it and yes Biden and his team have done a poor job at getting that message across. His approval ratings remain low and there's a good chance he's going to lose the election.
I think Biden made a huge mistake in running again and not retiring, but like you said "we only have two choices"
Quote"The fundamental problem for Biden and the Democrats is that while the rate of inflation is down, it's not going backwards,” GOP pollster Whit Ayres said. "It's hard to persuade people that things are better.”
Americans think the economy is worse under Biden
Americans have been stubbornly downbeat about the economy under Biden, with Gallup's Economic Confidence Index hovering between -20 and -40 for months on a scale of -100 to 100.
That number is derived from monthly surveys of US adults in which they are asked to rate national economic conditions, with 100 signifying that all respondents "say the economy is excellent or good and that it is getting better" and -100 signifying that they all "say it is poor and getting worse,” according to Gallup.

There are some good things about the economy. Unemployment is good. About same levels as Trump before covid.
People aren't disconnected. They are experiencing that everything costs a lot more than when he took office.

You made a false claim about wars.
Yes, people often vote based upon their feelings about the politics of the moment. That's why reversal of Roe has not been good for Republicans. That's why so many conservatives get their emotions inflamed by right wing media stories about the LGBTQ community and grooming or lewd books or drag queen book readings or flag flying in national parks. That media is trying to keep their targeted audience engaged in preparation for the election.
It's June. Pretty soon all of the hard working Americans who aren't paying close attention politics are going to be confronted with the realities and the fabrications that lead the discussions in this contest. Trump idea showing everyday how weak he is. He showed us in 2020 how weak his leadership skills were.

People are experiencing high costs and are disconnected from the core reasons that they are experiencing those high costs. That is the type of confusion that Trump prefers and fosters.

A liar is still better than a person who lies but doesn't realize they are lying.
A person who can formulate a lie has higher cognition than one who is generally confused.
I don't like it but there is only 2 choices I'm afraid.
