Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

Yes, bullying is wrong regardless of the target. But there’s a part of me that wants to say “Welcome to my world”.
I did edit in an article disputing her original claim in 2017. But apparently to the poster above it's a fact (that I had to go searching for information about since it was stated without backup, but I don't mind).
She resurrected it this year because she's getting attention for heading some basketball program. Hopefully, she can create a non-toxic place.
Bullying is wrong. There are post after post after post here about nurses being bullied by other nurses. I was a bullied kid/teen. It scars you for life.

Additionally, border and immigration concerns were not a high enough priority to get the republicans elected who wanted to highlight it in the recent midterms.
Maybe the republican controlled House will forward some meaningful legislation to improve our immigration policies and laws. What do you think the odds are that they'll take action?
And that is exactly my thought. I dare the Republicans to come up with a workable.plan. I don't believe there is anyone who wants more illegals in the country (especially if they have a criminal record) but we have been unable to control the problem. The best solution I've read so far is building a monster solar farm on the border. Of course the problem of us trespassing on private land for a solar farm or a wall has proven to be difficult to solve. I'd love to hear what these fools come up with. I do appreciate the problems that arise when towns become filled with illegal immigrants and change the culture of the town. It is a burden for those towns without careful planning.

Tell me, was Limbaugh a television or a newspaper conservative pundit? Maybe if you shared the reporting that had you believing such silliness we could talk about how that conclusion about media bias was reached instead of just asserting that you are incorrect in your claim.
Not only that, but the relationship between the former president and Fox news was actually symbiotic. Not only were they at his beck and call whenever, wherever and for how long he chose to ramble on, he hired staff directly from the newsertainment personalities because they were such superlative a** kissers.
If they dared utter a whiff of dissent, he would actually scold them back into line in public, so he'd get the extra bonus of his supporters attacking them in force.
I remember the days before there was a Fox News, before there was such a stunning array of opinions available to anyone with internet access.
I don't think it's possible to point to a president of either party in the past who employed a news corporation and all it's assets as an extension of the White House PR operation.

Democrat operatives go to work for the media once they leave office. In addition many democrats are married to media personnel.

Gotcha. Thanks.
I've heard of "political operatives" more often. I wouldn't disagree that some of them might go on to be media "consultants". They have inside knowledge that makes their commentary more interesting to consumers of media.

Fair enough, a nine year old article and another one about the Obama administration does make your point, even if it was an off topic deflection from the point that in 2022 Fox News practically actively campaigned for the Republicans. Although I am impressed with your memory for bringing up such details from the past like that.
