Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

Yes, Trump was treated differently because he was the least qualified, most dishonest and corrupt president of your lifetime.
I did not put words on your mouth. I guess I would say I will not allow you to demonize, devalue and dismiss any conservative opinion in which you do not agree. I do know what a straw man argument is and also know that it can become the " strawman " itself.
I gave an opinion of how I think you believe based on the type of vocabulary you use you describe not only Trump but the entire Republican party.
It's no secret that you destain Republican's not just Trump and have made comments alluding to them and their voters as "dangerous" and a threat to our democratic republic.
If that's "putting words in your mouth" then perhaps you should become more aware of your actually words because that is the impression you demonstrate. In my opinion of course.
However itsvrefreshing to see that you agree he was/is treated differently.

Don't you treat habitual liars and cheats differently in your personal life? Most of us do.

I happen to think it's fair to complain about Biden. Just because Trump was President doesn't mean you don't get to complain about Biden.
Sure, he can complain about Biden. I am simply going to remind him that he ignored the same or worse from Trump over and over with nary a peep of complaint. The new found standards are worth mentioning... each time.

But in turn you conveniently ignore what Biden does under the guise it's not as bad as Trump, shoot down the person saying it, and shoot down the source, and contribute nothing to the conversation....each time. You don't practice what you preach.
Carry on though. No one can tell you how to post. Trump was a horrible president.

Nah, I don't ignore it, Biden's weaknesses are apparent... first and foremost being his advanced age. He is, however, surrounded by competent people who are much more inclined to governing than grifting, which remains a huge improvement. The larger threat to our republic is this Trump movement which is based in lies about our democratic processes. There must be accountability.

Only two of the dogs who "served" (themselves!) while in the cabinet. Of course, Jared wins with 2 billion from the Saudis. Remember them? The ones that crashed planes on 9/11 and chopped up Kashoggi.

You mean the Saudis that Biden is going to see with his hat in his hand to ask for more oil production? The Saudis that Obama bowed in front of? those Saudis?
About Biden and Saudi Arabia.
The relationship with Saudi Arabia with it's trillion dollar oil fields has always been a tricky one. They have oil, but also despite them being Muslim and Arab they have been an ally even though we support Israel. They've bought billions in US Military equipment. Their human rights issues make it difficult when we need them, their cash and their oil or at least their participation in keeping prices reasonable. It's not a country we'd like as an enemy.
We have similar issues with China and their human rights issues.
QuoteOfficials have said Biden approved the trip after some initial reluctance at the prospect of backing off his promise to make Saudi Arabia pay a price for its role in the grisly 2018 murder of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Some of the President’s allies in Congress have criticized a trip and in particular a meeting with Prince Mohammed, the kingdom’s day-to-day ruler.
Biden had been hesitant to engage Prince Mohammed, determining early in his tenure that he would speak only to the crown prince’s father, King Salman, who is 86 years old and in failing health. The White House said in February 2021 that Biden was looking to “recalibrate” relations with Riyadh, including by shunning the crown prince, whom US intelligence agencies have deemed responsible for Khashoggi’s killing.
But Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a global spike in energy prices and a growing nuclear threat from Iran have scrambled the global calculus. And now Biden has determined it is necessary to warm ties with a longtime US partner in the Middle East.

I'll have to go back and look closer to at comments I made. Does sound like deflection. I think maybe I was referring to the inaccurate reports by left news sources reporting about the officer and the child. Where as TMB was talking about Trumps lies.
