Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

That you and others feel the need to defend such a relatively benign wrong is telling of just how  unobjective you are, and that he will never be wrong in your eyes.

As you said...it's benign, but I'm certain that you'll rode that pony as long as you can. Remind me, is it known for a fact that Biden was sleeping?

You haven't actually established that he wasn't alert and functional.  Listening does not require one to keep their eyes open.  Nobody is awake all the time but your sense of heightened concern is not surprising given the focus of conservative media in this era.

You've imagined a scandal where none exists. That's not surprising but it does reflect the focus of conservative commentary and concern.  Grievance, griping and culture wars are the current driving forces in republican political rhetoric.  There's so much speculation, supposing, assuming, guessing, claiming, and suggesting on such a wide variety of issues, in conservative media, that's it's not surprising that so many people simply don't know what they don't know and have difficulty discerning fact from fiction.  That's especially true when you consider that alternate facts and carefully disguised fear mongering are famously shopped on cable media outlets like Fox and OANN. People who don't venture outside of the conservative media landscape to inform themselves have no idea what they don't know about a variety of subjects from abuse of power to dishonesty. 

The real news is that the USA is at least moving toward a position of leadership in some globally important issues after 4 years of a failed and corrupt foreign policy.

I was waiting for the "Sleepy Joe" idea to trend and blow up.  It has.  I would have to agree that it doesn't look good, especially given the idea that he's old and incompetent and demented.  Not good at all.  

This is what people remember and what we are talking about. 

People are also upset that he used a plane to get there with his staff.  I've read the same criticism against Greta Thunburg.  It started way back with Al Gore who used electricity in his mansion and flew first class from city to city on tour.

Maybe you should call those people in the military who work with him every day and let them know of your concerns.  Perhaps ring up one of the 7 Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs committee, because "the safety" could really cover a lot of ground in terms of the federal bureaucracy.

Maybe they're just too shy to say they don't judge Biden's competence based on the schoolyard epithets dreamed up by the guy who was never more incompetent than when he showed up at an international summit, to the point their leaders laughed at him behind his back.

He was nothing out. It is a summit. It's not a fun social situation like Sunday dinner. You are completely absolved in your ideology you can't see something in front of your face. 

He looks like a care home resident during afternoon  activities. 

I'm saying this as a concern, not to devalidate him as president. Your inability to even consider there is something wrong is a dangerous, to Biden himself. 

Your are so absolved in your rhetoric that the very person who you keep defending may be at risk and you couldn't care less fir him as a person. 

Again. Criticizing Biden doesn't mean you love Trump!!

Maybe they all should address a possible heath concern of the person they are sworn to protect?? This is why there is less trust in military and government and Bidens polls are terrible. . Complete denial of what's in front of their faces. No left media will even talk about it. 

By the way, the whole world is laughing at Biden and also terrified at the same time.

Pretty sure the constitution didn't realize the POTUS would be a old man falling asleep and not able to spit out a understandable sentence with flights of ideas and unrelated content.
