Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.
Sleepy Joe
"President Biden crammed in a little shut-eye before his international address Monday — appearing to fall asleep during opening remarks at the COP26 climate change conference in Scotland."

He's not the potus

How many other leaders that were in attendance were dozing off? I don't recall any of our past presidents sleeping during such occasions.
LOL indeed. I've been falling asleep during presentations for years. I used to fall asleep in movie theaters when I was a teen. And yet, somehow, I have had a fulfilling nursing career and earned a graduate degree.

Definitely not the crime of the century.
However, he shouldn't be falling asleep at such things. And, this was during the opening presentation. Not hours into it. And how often did we hear that age would not be a factor for his presidency? Now he's being excused as a weary elderly traveler.
That you and others feel the need to defend such a relatively benign wrong is telling of just how unobjective you are, and that he will never be wrong in your eyes.

So?
You've imagined a scandal where none exists. That's not surprising but it does reflect the focus of conservative commentary and concern. Grievance, griping and culture wars are the current driving forces in republican political rhetoric. There's so much speculation, supposing, assuming, guessing, claiming, and suggesting on such a wide variety of issues, in conservative media, that's it's not surprising that so many people simply don't know what they don't know and have difficulty discerning fact from fiction. That's especially true when you consider that alternate facts and carefully disguised fear mongering are famously shopped on cable media outlets like Fox and OANN. People who don't venture outside of the conservative media landscape to inform themselves have no idea what they don't know about a variety of subjects from abuse of power to dishonesty.
The real news is that the USA is at least moving toward a position of leadership in some globally important issues after 4 years of a failed and corrupt foreign policy.

It's not a scandal but an extreme concern. The POTUS needs to be alert and functional in order to perform his duties as the leader of the free world. He is in charge of the safety and military. He needs to be awake.

I have posted before that Biden would not have been my choice for nominee and I disagree with some of his actions.

As you said...it's benign, but I'm certain that you'll rode that pony as long as you can. Remind me, is it known for a fact that Biden was sleeping?
Would you like to talk about the malignancy that Trump and his lies represent to the GOP and the US Constitution?
