Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

Which part of your transgender comments was intended to be light hearted? Which statements were an example of poking fun?

You've made this claim a few times, and while I don't have much problem finding others who also claim this, the problem is all of those examples I can find are promoting it as a way of promoting fear and hate of the transgendered.
It seems to be a misrepresentation of the fairly well established premise that the aspects of development that determine our gender identity is not consistently binary. The idea that gender is more of a spectrum than binary has been part of mainstream Biology since the 1950's. It's not the same as saying that the concept of gender doesn't exist.
No it is not promoting hate of the transgender from me. I have no doubt that is abundant but I do not read or subscribe to that type of rhetoric. When I encounter it in person, I often will state what you said, about gender spectrum. I find most people confuse gender with sex. I've also encountered people who say there is no such thing as either. All depends. It takes one hyperinflation video/article for the already fearful/misinformed etc to run with it. There can never be any number of videos or articles refuting it that will change their mind. However when treated with kindness and respect, the info we provide will have a higher chance of educating that person and preventing more hate.
I'll find some articles and studies I have read and post if I can find them. Working home care and hospice right now.

Oh I'm sorry. Just because someone that has a different opinion doesn't make them a bigot.
I do not call you a bigot because I disagree with you. But you do call me one. Might I call you one now? No I won't. I do not like being a bigot.

I'm not trying to sound like a bigot but I do not think you would understand humor anyway. ???

Is that another example of you not wanting to be rude or catty? Why not explain which part of your comments were intended to be light hearted and just poking fun rather than attempting to insult me personally?
Back to the original topic of this thread...
Earlier in the speech, which was aimed at highlighting his administration's childcare proposals in the plan, Biden also suggested free community college may be an area that gets cut.
I suppose this gives the glimmer of some hope. In my area, high school students can take community college classes in lieu of some high school classes, with the potential of earning an associates degree at the same time as a high school diploma.
I hope they can keep the funding for childcare, as I think this is vital for getting parents back into the workforce.

Some people are not receptive. You are not the only one. I don't know why my comments are bigoted. Obviously because I do not intend them to be. Why don't you tell me why they are? Maybe I'll change my mind . I open to being wrong. Are you?

I'm not being critical of your comments because I share a different opinion, I'm being crtitical because you're promoting a trope intended to convey that the transgendered and their supporters are a threat to who you are, resulting in hate, fear, scorn, etc. There doesn't seem to be a prominent view among trans or people who support trans rights that either gender or sex simply doesn't exist. The message is 'they're coming to take your identity from you, by saying you can't identify as a man or woman'. This idea seems to be primarily coming from those who are fear-mongering and pushing intolerant views.

Are you saying that I'm not receptive to nonsense comments about imagined transgendered rhetoric? When you were proved to be wrong about late term abortion you weren't very receptive and you didn't change your mind, you tried to insult me instead.
Are you still trying not to be rude or catty?

....because you disagree with my opinions. There for they entice "hate". So should nobody say anything because someone might become hateful? I'll agree. You be the first to delete your account. You know ,because someone might use your comments to use as hate. I mean anyone can interpret something and become hateful. Better get rid of the Bible, Koran and any other religious scripture!

Are you going to tell me how my comments are bigoted? I wasn't proved wrong in the abortion. You couldn't answer the question. LOL
