Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

It does seem the more liberals complained about him, got angry at his lies and were baffled by his support, the more the dug in their heels. The angrier him and his followers made us, the stronger they become. It all should have end with his election defeat, but instead January 6th happened. It all should have ended January 6th and now he leads the polls.
I think in some respects liberal media gave him so much attention without thinking he could possibly win he strengthened them and their resolve and November 26th happened. Hate is a strong word, but they truly despise liberals. They found a voice in Trump because he makes us so mad.
But also the way the poster said "the way I saw it......" really points out what I've said before that two people can see the exact same thing (maybe on two networks) and have two entirely different interpretations.
I think of how many times what I clearly see that the truth has been shot down with "fake news".

Which is why people like trump appeals to you. You have little control of your life so you like people that appear to be in control of their lives, which in trump's case, couldn't be further from the truth.
He's saddled with debt and criminal prosecutions and he's grifting you poor saps to pay his legal bills etc, for example, this recent stupid lawsuit which he will drop. He knows if he goes through with it, he will be called to testify and he will perjure himself, but why should he care, it's your money he's spending!
You need to explore sublimation and how it may be affecting you.

Well, I've noticed you make an extra effort to be fair to both sides, which in itself requires more deliberation and patience, and unfortunately very often the result is both sides get mad at you.
I've tried to do this myself, not always successfully . . .

I hate to ask, but perhaps you can explain to me what you mean by "sublimation". When I Google it, it's about printing and turning a solid into a gas.
I do understand that I do have trust issues. That goes way back and I've been in therapy a few times. LOL
As far as being angry and frustrated all the time (that's a bit of an exaggeration, I also have my moments of peace of mind), I also am trying to deal with that. I'm trying to live and let live and let the unvaccinated have their right to make their choices (I lost someone I went to high school with, and yet another unvaccinated coworker is out sick) so I'm dealing with that anger. I'm angry at our staffing which is chronically low, but I just took an 18 day vacation and went away to relax to deal with that. As far as news and politics that has me angry, sometimes I have to step away, and as you can tell sometimes I like to give my two cents and there are other things I can do like vote, march, donate money, etc. I realize so much of it is out of my control but I don't feel my life is out of control.
I believe most people are good and decent people. I don't feel I control what I can, let go of the rest, and feel pretty good about my life choices right now. It's been a process.
Trump appeals to me like a boil on my orifice. So you're wrong about that.

Sorry, that post was meant for Cclm. I tend to read the post and not look at who wrote what. Plus working a night shift and just popped into AN. Sorry again.
I associate the anger issues with the trumpistas based on they feel about resolutions. Instead of analyzing their problems, they tend to emote in the only way they can in their limited expressions. It's always a bull in the China shop approach.
Look at Texas for example, beginning a new audit after Arizona just concluded that there was no election fraud. Instead of taking a step back and realizing that they have been conned for months, wanna bet, they also contribute their hard earned money to trump, again?
Just now, toomuchbaloney said:I suspected that the quoted material and comment was not intended for Tweety.
It really wasn't. Hectic night but I always need my AN fix and not much time to read stuff.
Sorry again, for any angst caused.
It is sublimation of a fashion however, re trumpistas and their anger, frustration issues. They think that they are expressing their feelings in a healthy manner but they are really feeding their own authoritative natures because he resonates with them.
You will find that they frequently always seek the band aid fix in all areas of their lives as well. I've noticed it with my patients. Dutch boy attitude, I call it. Unfortunately, the dam always bursts!

I don't know that I would agree with your thinking on sublimation.
