Pre student

Hello : ) I am getting ready to go into school for my nursing in sept! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I've been a CNA on and off for 12 years now. I have wanted to be a nurse for awhile but just now taking the steps to reach my goal at 32. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself a little : )

    Congrats on your decision! I'm one of those just out of high school pre-nursing students, and I so wish I had your experience. After today I will be done with my first year of prereqs. So what classes are you taking in the fall?

    You will do great when you graduate! I will be taking general math first because I'm horrible in it then when that is done I can do the prerequisites for nursing such as a&p.

    Welcome and congrats on your decision. I'm a mid-life career changer and I just finished my pre-reqs. I remember when I first started them it seemed like it would be forever until I was where I am right now. But it went so fast! I wish you the most success and I hope you enjoy your classes.
