I am! but I am taking the summer off. I will be starting up again this fall with Chemistry, A & PI, Algebra and life span development:eek: that should get my foot in the door for starting the nursing program fall 2010 but I still have to conquer the HOBET next April! The school I go to you don't have to have but a couple of pre-reqs to get on the list but for the ranking it's nice to have a handful of classses to put you on top. I have a few already out of the way that will help with that. I am so impatient!
Good Luck!

You're not alone! I'm taking A & P 1 this fall... then after that I still have A & P 2, Micro, and Sociology to do. I can only do 1 class at a time right now. I'm looking at applying to nursing school for the Fall 2011.
But believe me, the time is going to go by so fast!!! It may seem like a long road but you will be at your pinning ceremony before you know it!
Good luck!!

Me, too! I'm taking Anatomy this fall, Physio in the spring, and micro next fall. Then I'll be applying for Fall 2011 and beyond.
If I've learned one thing about time...it flies!

I'm taking A & P 1 lab this summer, and A &P 2 and the lab, Chemistry and the HCP class in the fall. Hopefully I should be able to get in sometime for the winter in 2011.

I have a long way too. I am taking AP1 & ethics fall 09, AP2 & Chem for spring 10. Hopefully I can apply for Fall '10. If not, I will go Microbiology & algebra for Fall '10, to apply for Spring '11... feels like forever :)

I am taking Sociology001 (pre) PolSci001 and Math125 (both core) this summer and then for fall, I will be taking Anatomy, Chem, Psychology041, and Philosophy. If I stick to my roadmap, I should be done by Spring 2010 will all pre and core classes!

I am just starting this long jouney as well! In the fall I will be taking Fundamentals of math 1 & 2 plus Intro to biology. If all goes well and I follow the exact outline of courses that my nursing advisor suggested, then I will be able to apply in the fall of 2011.

Well, let me tell you I don't know where two years has gone. I just got my acceptance letter today...I start in the fall.
Finished the 3 of the 4 requirements in two semesters (Anatomy/Micro, then Phsy; already had English completed) and was on the wait list for a year (which I hear they're going to do away with in a semester or two), took an EMT class (and passed the nat'l exam) during that year, currently taking two "entry" nursing classes this semester (Nursing Concepts & Nursing Pharm) and time has flown by! It will for you too...good luck!!

I'll be taking my last pre-req this summer, microbiology. Then this fall I can apply for Fall 2010 and I've registered for a few of the last "core" classes I need for the degree. I have no clue what I'll take the following spring semester, I should have everything but the actual nursing classes completed! Best wishes to everyone, study hard! :heartbeat

Do not worry! The time really does fly! I started last fall with many many courses to take. I'm now down to 4 pre-req's! The bottom line is keep your goal in mind, take it one step at a time, and remember that it's all for a good cause!
I am taking Microbiology this summer, A&P1 and Soc in the fall, then A&P 2 in the spring, applying at the end of Jan for Fall 2010 entrance (Hopefully).
Good luck everyone.

I'm in the same boat. I just started as well. I already have my English out of the way. I am taking Soci and Psyc this summer, then A&P I and another Psyc class in the fall. A&P II and probably Speech in the spring if I can't take it during the Wintermester. I *might* take Micro next summer if I feel like it is something I can handle. I am hoping to get everything done in time to apply for Spring of 2011 but I might need to slow my pace a little and wait until the fall of 2011 (Happy 30th B-day to me :) )
It does seem like an eternity away but I am just happy to be actually doing something and making progress toward my ultimate goal. :) I'm sure, like others have done, I will look back on all of this once I am in the program and realize how short of a time it actually was.
