  1. Hi, I am taking Anatomy001 and Chem051 this fall as well, then Physio and Micro for spring. Are you taking it at LACCD? Goodluck to both of us.
  2. Hi Coloradogrl, You must be referring to one of my post were I noted, base on my experience with family and friends who have applied to MSMC. I know a total of 19 individuals, both graduates and attending MSMC. A few were really great dedicated students while the others are just okay, nonetheless, they all got accepted by just meeting the required GPA. Some are graduates of the ABSN and ADN, if not attending. So again, base on my experience, I have yet to meet someone who has been turn down at MSMC.
  3. It sounds doable; I took 18 credit last Spring and I got a 4.0, bear in my that I only had 1 science class with lab though. This coming Fall, I will be taking 19 credit, with 2 science class both with lab so I am hoping to get good grades as well. Goodluck.
  4. As far as I know, base on my family and friends and schoolmates, I have never met anyone who has been denied acceptance, as long as you meet the required GPA, which is I believe 2.5 (you can double check on their website) and you have the money or can be approve with loans. It is very expensive.
  5. Hi dreamon, Los Angeles.
  6. Hi vlove, Yeah, if GOD forbid I don't get into ANY nursing school, I am looking into Health admin and or Nutrition/Dietetics, since most of the pre-reqs are needed in nutrition as well.
  7. Hi, how about an essay about the different types of mental health therapy?..although, I am not sure how "nursing" related that can be?...you can probably note how nurses see different improvements or reactions from different individual depending on what therapy that person is getting. Goodluck.
  8. :ancong!: Do you mind sharing with us what was your GPA? Was there an interview? or any other information that will be useful. Congratulations again..
  9. Hi touchhealth, I know a few people who will be starting this September for the ADN program, and they are not the best students in the class, they just happen to have parents with money who can actually send them to MSMC. I am not sure how fierce is the competition with their BSN program; my sister in law and her friend attended MSMC 4 years ago.
  10. If I don't get in to any of the cc or csu that I plan on applying, I will apply at MSMC. It cost a lot but they never turn down any applicants.
  11. If everything goes well with my plan, I should be done by Spring 2010 with all my pre-reqs; so I am hoping to get in the program by 2011. Good luck to all of us!!!
  12. Hi, If you are really determined, you should talk to a chem051 professor during the first day of class and explain your situation; you can be a standby student. Show up to class everyday, do the work, and go the extra mile. Most of the time, half of summer students drop classes, especially science with lab courses due to the heavy load. You can take over vacant spot. Good luck to you.
  13. vlove-if you don't mind the drive, you should check out micro classes at GCC or PCC.
  14. Our Bio professor at LAVC informed us that the Micro 8 week class that she was suppose to teach during session 1 was cancelled. Some of my bio classmates were looking forward to that class. Also, on the email that I got earlier today from registration noted that as well. Did you get any email?
