I understand nothing is easy so I should of probably used another words. It just hurts when you were next in line and then the rug gets pulled out of under you. Yes, my preqes gpa is great but now they added things like CNA(which will take around 6-9 months to get unless I pay for a private program), extra points for living in the area(I'm in Denver....sterling is a couple hrs outside) then also community service or working in health care...I don't mind volunteering and don't work in health care. I talked to the women in charge with the waitlist and she told me if I was to complete the other extra things and pay for a private CNA course, volunteer or take a job in health care, and be willing to relocate up there I might have a chance in 2012-2013....but many of the applicants have yrs of working in health care and rhet will take preference even tho I have a almost 4.0. She also at the end of the convo she herself would NOT relocate to a rural area with limited employment unlesa i was in the program because it wouldn't increase my chances much.
I guess there is the private/for profit schools here that are 47 & 70k
