Pre-req's

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Any one still doing pre-req's? I have a long way to go.

I might need to slow my pace a little and wait until the fall of 2011 (Happy 30th B-day to me :) )

I'll be 30 in Fall of 2011 and that's also when I hope to get in! (Oh my gosh, doesn't it feel weird to type that you'll be 30?)

I already completed 2 years of pre-reqs. I only need AP3 and microbiology, plus Math95 and a few random classes since I'll be going to a different community college. I am going to sign up for AP3 in the fall. I had given up on my dream of nursing when I did my first day in the hospital for my CNA class. But, I did have an older CNA who had been doing it for 30+ years and didn't want to explain anything to me. So I panicked, I admit it. Now I have a 9 month old little boy and I want him to be proud of his mommy. I want to finally complete something in my life. I want to finally BELIEVE in myself 100%. I'm tired of letting myself down and my husband whenever something gets "too hard." My husband is trying to make a career change into law enforcement and I want to do the same for nursing. It's going to be a challenge but I know I can do it once I set my mind to it for sure this time. No giving up, I don't want my son to see me give up. Any tips? Thanks a lot everyone. This was my first post! YAY! :yeah:

Hahahaha! I think I am going to have a really hard time with 30....

I have been takin pre-reqs for almost two years and I am sick of them too. The good thing is u can retake them to get a higher grade if u mess up one semester. Just hang in there and thank God u have the much needed info!
