I keep seeing all of these "I got in" messages and I'm starting to worry that I wont be able to join in this celebration. Maybe I'm just stressing because I have to wait until mid February to find out if I got into the program. This is wait is so nerve bothering. I know many of you have felt the same way or are feeling the same way but how do I get over it? Don't say exercise because I've been in the Marine Corps for 8 years now and exercise does nothing but give you more time to think about things. Well I guess when I get out of the Marine Corps in January the wait wont be too long huh? What do I do to ease my mind a little? Does anyone else have to wait this long?

Don't stress. I think I have officially become immune to the wait as well. I am so thrilled for everyone who applied and got in. My hats off to everyone on the waitlist as well.

I have until Nov. 15th. Been waiting for over a month already and am sick of being anxious. Good or bad news I am prepared to take it. :)

Good luck to you :balloons:

My school will be sending the letters out starting next week. I am VERY nervous, so much I can't study for the classes I am taking now. I just want to get in and move on already!

Good luck to all of us :)

Same here. Funny thing is that since I have applied and been waiting I have to remind myself that life goes on beyond the waiting period and that I MUST keep studying for my current classes. :chuckle

God Bless you all that are waiting for good news :)

I know I'm anxious enough just waiting for the school to post the Spring semester classes so I can sign up for simply more pre-reqs!!!! let alone waiting for nursing school results.

I think I need to cut back on the coffee. LOL

Maybe you can find time to do fun things that you haven't had time for. Do you have hobbies? I personally would love to take a sewing class but don't have time for it.

Just a suggestion to ease the torture of waiting:)

I'll join in on the nervousness. I have to wait till mid to late November and I am beside myself. I have been watching all the post about getting accepted and also denied and it is heart wrenching. (I still have hope Fun2care) I applied with a 4.0 GPA but there is still that what if. My school accepts students based on GPA for prereqs, and then if there is a need for a tie breaker they use the NET scores. I got a 95% on the Math and a lowly 66% on the Reading (too many distractions from the two people on either side of me, one was asking questions the entire time and the other was tapping her pencil so much that I wanted to grab it and throw it across the room) with a composite score of 80. Now assume that they only take 4.0 GPA's like DCCCD, what if my NET score isnt high enough. I am freaking out and really need to chill out LOL. Needless to say I have taken up meditation as a stress reliever to get me through this wait. It has helped a lot, LOL I was a lot worse. Anyway, just wanted to chime in and let you know that you arent alone! We shall wait together.
