  1. One thing was funny today, kind of an eye opener. We watched a video, patients' testimonials about how nurses they met changed their lives/saved their lives... After we watched it, our instructor said: "Do you realize they are talking about you?" Anyway, we can do it. There is no reason for us to give up now after spending all this time working on previous classes :) One of my favorite thoughts: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Maya Angelou :)
  2. Thank you all so much, I really appreciate it :) Well, I survived and actually liked it a lot. We had an introduction class instead of lab today and I was happy to see a teacher whom I had a year ago, a wonderful lady :) We watched a few videos, got to look at the schedule. Everyone seemed very nice, some people from my previous classes. It was a very nice experience :) All of you going through this soon, don't worry, it really is OK and you feel fine once it starts.   3. And I am absolutely terrified. I have been working on this for the last year and a half. I did well, studied like mad. Now, I am about to start and I am scared out of my mind. It all seems unreal. Uniforms, clogs, books. Any words of encouragement for a scared nursing student? :wink2: Uh
  4. Although I was hoping for an A, I ended up with an 89% average, a B lol Never mind, I was happy to get rid of the notes and the lab manual
  5. Yeah, mine was... interesting. 175 questions and a post-test before that (20 questions). Not sure how I did, I should find out some time today. Lord, am I glad this is over
  6. I am still here, reading between study breaks I have my final tomorrow and currently have 91.25% total for the class Good luck everyone! :)

  8. Me, me! :roll I am starting school 6th of January. We have 4 semesters, 2 summers off in between. We have orientation on the 18th of November and have to do CPR, background check, immunizations. We got a list of books we need and I will be looking for some good deals on that. I am so excited :)

Thank you everyone :) I have been checking my mailbox 10 times a day for the last 2 weeks or so and I think the mailman thought I like him lol since I would run out to the car as soon as I saw it around the corner. Today, when he saw me jumping like an idiot, I think he is definitely sure I am not OK lol Thanks again :)
  10. Macon State College, GA I am so relieved. I have been in the USA 3 years and a year and a half decided that I would be a great nurse lol. I studied, ignored the obstacles and made it :) Thank you :)

  12. I got a 95% on my 2nd lecture exam! Woo hoo! Congrats girls on great grades, we can do it :)
  13. Haha, now that is being bored lol :) I like the class, the teacher is pretty funny so that helps otherwise half of the class would commit suicide lol People are dropping this class like crazy, we started with 35 and there is 17 of us left.
  14. My school will be sending the letters out starting next week. I am VERY nervous, so much I can't study for the classes I am taking now. I just want to get in and move on already! Good luck to all of us :)
