Did anyone get their e-mail from Brookhaven today?

This is the meanest thing EVER? Is it normal for it to take 2 days?

How can picking the top 40 be so hard??! All they do is put the top 40 in a stack and email them!

I am so anxious and stressed! I have been pressing 'refresh' on my email every 5 minutes....then I realized that is probably making things worse, so I have gone to checking it every 30 minutes.

geez, the suspense is killing me! why is this taking sooooo long? I am trying to keep busy, but I can't help checking my email constantly :( at least there is still hope...I was thinking last nite, since I didn't get an email, that I had been rejected. But, today I will send good vibes to you all!

I have never taken Xanax, but that sounds like a good idea! haha

And Wannabanrn- I don't think it is a matter of you getting rejecting because I have already been told that there were a small handful of people with points in the 30s. It is just a matter of getting the freaking email!!

Whose turn is it to call and bother them??? :)

And Wannabanrn- I don't think it is a matter of you getting rejecting because I have already been told that there were a small handful of people with points in the 30s. It is just a matter of getting the freaking email!!

I am not in TX but I started reading your posts last night and now I am excited for you. I saw the first couple then before going to bed I thought Oh I should see if you guys found out. Then I saw that they were delayed yet again, and I wanted to send my sympathisies for the wait and my well wishes to you all and hope you get some good news soon!

I know...I feel pretty confident that I'm in, but at this point it seems like anything is possible. so, let's pretend that we're all in-what's the next step? do they tell us what classes to register for? I also need to know because I need to do my cpr class asap...and get my 3rd hep b shot.

I have 20 points so I guess I'm not in? I'll I can do it wait in anticipation of the outcome. :o

I don't think I can handle it much longer...I just hope that they don't make us wait longer than today. I have so much to do today, but I can't seem to step away from the computer.

Wannbanrn- I think the next step is to call and confirm our acceptance, then I think we set up an appointment to talk to them, then we go to success camp, then we pick our classes? That might be the wrong order, but I am pretty sure that we don't get to pick our classes right away. I wish I could look at the website, but since it is down I can't. That is just from what I remember. My CPR card is good until Feb 2009, but I think we have to retake it 2nd semester no matter what. I am soooooooo glad that I got all of my shots out of the way. I just got my last Hep A and B like 4 months ago.

mustangmona- I wouldn't necessarily say that, but I can give you all of the info that I have. I know that last nursing class admitted had their lowest points in the teens, but there were also less applicants. The class before that had a cut off of about 24 I think and they had a ton of applicants. Even if you don't get it, you can apply for the fall with your extra 3 points. Do you have all of your support courses done?
