Prairie view CON Fall 2010

Hi,

I applied to the CON for fall 2010 and i was wondering if there are more people out there who applied too.

I've been reading some older posts and it seems like we wont know anything regarding acceptance until late April, early May

I am already ready to hear something and have no idea how i will make it that long.

Also i heard the CON is first come first serve? Any truth in that?

I turned in my clinical application Feb 19th and the deadline was March 1st. Is that too late?

Are any of yall planing on moving downtown or close by the school? Also do ya'll plan on taking summer classes?

You mean summer classes while in the program... I would want to but I'm not sure if we can..

Have you heard anything back from the school regarding registering for the classes and all..??? Or do you know how we go about doing that???

I heard someone say we would get an option to take summer classes this summer. We are supposed to get an email about that.

As for registering for classes, i assume it will be sometime after this semester is over. I'm still taking pre-reqs so i cant register until i show them proof that i passed the classes which wont be till after may.

A friend of mine in the program now advised me to take summer classes. Apparently your first semester, you will be enrolled in 3 classes, 1 lab and a clinical which is a total of 5 classes but you can take one class in the summer which will reduce ur work load so i am seriously considering it.

knalimol, I would also wanna consider taking summer classes to help out in our first semester.... so should we contact them or what...?? I've signed into pVAMU registering website and looked at all the classes and timings for 1st semester... but I have not checked if I can already register for them...

Oh you did already? I wasn't able to get into the website. I guess i have to call em.

What were the times for the class? Yeah I'll say contact them. See what they say and then come back and post it so i know

Yeah i just got mine. What are you planning on taking? I'm thinking of taking Nurs 3013 Individual Assesment.

yes I got it... so all misunderstandings clear!!!

The info to take summer classes are all mentioned... also says that we will get further information on registering for Fall classes so I guess we have to wait...

Let me know what classes ya'll plan on taking if you are thinking about summer... so we can take it together...

Me too plus Nurs 4123 if I can taken 2 together...

None of them match my work schedule so Im thinking bout quitting work early....

I'm leaning towards Nurs 3023 and Nurs 2013.... Just because those are first semester classes; make the course load easier as I adjust to being back in school.

So your gonna take two classes in the summer? WOW. I think i can only handle 1 class and the lab. So does anyone know if financial aid covers this?
