Prairie view CON Fall 2010

Hi,

I applied to the CON for fall 2010 and i was wondering if there are more people out there who applied too.

I've been reading some older posts and it seems like we wont know anything regarding acceptance until late April, early May

I am already ready to hear something and have no idea how i will make it that long.

Also i heard the CON is first come first serve? Any truth in that?

I turned in my clinical application Feb 19th and the deadline was March 1st. Is that too late?

I was thinking about Nurs 3023, but I have heard that Pathophysiology is hard.. that's why I wanted a longer term for that class...

If you do think about taking Patho, then will you be taking that in the evening, since the other one is in the morning...???

@leeleb, the hours for 3023 and 3013 conflicts with each other. I think you can only take one of them and then 4123.

Knalimol: LOL we said the same thing at the same tme... you see nurs 3023 has 2 timing options... so she can go evening for the 2nd one...

I'm just ready to start!!! LOL. I probably will just take patho & the elective because I want to still work a few hrs and live my life before i start.

does anyone know when the actual first day is?

No idea when we start but im guessing its rite after the orientation. When is family day?

Leeleeb: same here I'm also ready to rock n roll heeeheh.... take a little burden off for our 1st yr... Patho or ind. health assess. will help towards 1st semester... elective will towards 2nd semester... so either ones we take, its still going to help big time...

Just a quick opinion... I would wanna take Patho alone in summer since its kinda hard.... Im kinda bad in Physiology.. but if you know you are pretty good then you can take it with some else...

yes! i need to ask what is more stressful so i can take that one by itself!

classes start a day before my birthday as i guessed.... :( no party for me turning 21 lol
