Prairie view CON Fall 2010

Hi,

I applied to the CON for fall 2010 and i was wondering if there are more people out there who applied too.

I've been reading some older posts and it seems like we wont know anything regarding acceptance until late April, early May

I am already ready to hear something and have no idea how i will make it that long.

Also i heard the CON is first come first serve? Any truth in that?

I turned in my clinical application Feb 19th and the deadline was March 1st. Is that too late?

So, tell me for sure what classes we should take in summer... coz I dont wanna sufffer alone LOL

LOL, Nurs 3013 health assess... and if possible the nurse 4123 (elective)?? hopefully everyone can still be able to work with this class schedule.

I wont be able to I work in the mornings... so Im gonna have to quit work 2mos early...

lovely-- are you working full time?? they wont work with ur school schedule during summer?

i was thinking of working 1 day a week when school starts... saturday... but its not looking so great on that lol

No I dont work full-time... the work's all done in the morning... and I cant go in afternoon or evenings... if it was for a day then it would be alright but like 2-3 days wont work out!!!!

I wanna take it in summer coz it will help me in my first yr....

Lol, Lovely and Leeleb yall are funny.

I will be taking the assessment class too. Not to sure bout the elective class but if y'all take it then maybe :-)

Also i heard its $500 for a class so if we take both classes, it would be $1000....yikes!!!

What??? Are you serious... man thats alot compares to a comm. college... I guess have to start gettin use to it...

Yeah. And financial aid doesn't cover it in the summer time, but it does in the fall.

So im planning on going to New York for 2 weeks in may. Leave 5/18 and come back 6/1. so i'll be coming back 1 day before summer school starts. Good or bad idea? Do you think we might need to do anything before summer school starts?

hhmm.. on one side it will be a good thing coz u will have relaxation before you get into all this nursing mess..

We might need to do what before summer school starts...???? Like what...
