Ok, I admit it! I watched Dr. Phil today on my day off! I have a cold on my day off and was lounging on the couch. lol
This mother has a son who weighs 150 pounds and was in complete denial about the entire thing! She keeps taking him to doctors wanting them to give her some medical reason for being obese, but keeps pouring the food in him. ?????????? This mother herself weighed over 350 pounds! The logic gene totally skipped this women! The kid already has acid reflux at 4 years old. I don't even want to know what condition his heart is in. Yikes, a little scary.
Just venting all, thx.

YIKES! I didn't see the show-- What did Dr. Phil have to say about it? Any chance the child had Prader-Willi syndrome?

To me that is a form of child abuse, l see more and more children getting obese.
l think is has to do with the chains of fast food, as many kids l know eat at these places several times a week.
Both my children aren't overweight, but they very rarely get to go to these places, l'd rather pay more and give them something decent.

so SUE Them....she may win really .....i saw the show. She is flat-out in denial and irresponsible...hanging all her hopes on some sort of physical ailment that may or may not exist. Sick if you ask me. If that is not a woman needing counseling, I don't know what IS. She is the one w/a problem if you ask me.

Yeah, she just looked so defiant when Dr. Phil just layed it to her. What in the h*ll did she expect, he IS Dr. Phil. That's part of his appeal.

I doubt it, the kid had been worked up and out the yin yang and was mentally normal. Dr. Phill had a hard time keeping his cool with this women, she argued with everything the man said, and wouldn't listen to a dang thing. She spent her whole time blaming everthing from the doctors to the death of her father for why the child was fat. lol, her answer for everything was "Yes, but............". I agree with leeca, it is child abuse.
lol, didn't someone already sue a food chain for being fat? I heard that a while ago.

Was this kid from FLorida?
As a short addendum.... I think that people who sue the fast food places should be taken out behind the dumpster and shot!!! ROnald McDonald didn't drive the ford pinto into the parking lot of McDonalds and threw the drive thru.... the person who is overweight did! It's time for society to take responsibility for our own actions!

So if this kid is gaining 35 pounds a year, by the time he's ten he'll weigh.....oh wait. He'll have a massive MI by then!
