Poll: where are you going when you finish school?

I am curious to see where you think you will go once you finish school. Even though all we have done are 2 clinical days in a nursing home I already have my heart set on one of a couple different places. I want to go to Labor & Delivery, Psych, or Renal Dialysis. So where do you think(or know) you may want to be once you graduate? ~Twintoo

Probably stay a year down here to get some grad experience, then possibly be a traveler. One thing's for sure, I'm getting out of Florida.

I want to do either CCU, NICU, or OR.

ED, Level 1 Trauma center, or some sort of critical care unit (MICU, SICU).

I'm joining the Army Nurse Corps. That way I have 20 year retirement ( If I don't go on) and the G.I. Bill to live off of. I'm doing ICU or ER for the base hospital.

I've been in Florida my whole life and just never really got the opportunities to travel outside the state very much. As part of my new career, I'm looking for some new vistas too. Being a traveling nurse seems like a good option for a single woman whose kids are grown and gone, at least in the short term.

Peds. I think, or ICU. or Peds ICU.

I got outta florida 6 months after I got married. Lived in one of those "little" tiny insignifiant towns where there was a line a mile long to work at the new Wal- Mart. (not that theres anything wrong with working at Wal Mart) I don't know where you live, but there are nice parts of Florida, thats for sure, but there are places where you just feel the life being sucked outta you when you're there. Thats where I grew up. I LOVE Philadelphia. whew, do I love it here.
