For those of us who have already taken boards, please answer a few questions that might help ease the minds of those who are still waiting to test or for results. I know reading as much as possible about other people's experience helped me feel a little bit better while I waited.
1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX?

3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)?
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting?
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)?

90 questions
2. what study materials did you use? did you take a test review course? self reviewed with saunders comprehensive review, saunders q & a, kaplan; followed some tips from suzanne
3. did your son offer any testing (eri, ati, hesi)? yes, i graduated in the phils, but i am not familiar with eri, ati & hesi.
4. how long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? 3 weeks
5. what were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)?
i was confident that i passed because i have studied most of what came out in the exam, most importantly, i trusted that god heard my prayers.
6. was this your first attempt at nclex? yes.
for those who will be taking the exam, i wish you the best. study hard, practice as much as you can, have confidence in yourselves, think positively and trust in god who makes all good things possible.

1. I got 76 questions.
2. I took a review course provided by my SON by Sylvia Rayfield (Nursing Made insanely easy people) their materials and I also used Saunders.
3. My school required us to do HESI testing in between our first year and at the end of our last year. The exit exam I got a 988.
4. I waited like 46 hours after I took NCLEX for my results.
5. After taking the NCLEX I was so scared! I didnt know what to think or feel...I felt like I was holding my breath for 2 days. It was awful! I knew that with 76 questions I had either REALLY failed or REALLY passed and was hoping it wasnt the first option. And it wasnt...I PASSED!!

1. i passed with 75 questions
2. i used kaplan review, mostly qbank, saunders, and would go to barnes and nobles and do question from random books especially the new format ones.
3. My SON offered ATI review classes our first 6 weeks of our last semester in school to prepare us for our exit exam, i only used saunders to prepare for that test. i passed the first time.
4. i just moved from MD to Alaska and alaska dont offer the quick result so i took my test thur at 8am look on SBON website and found license on sat morn.
5. man i was so unsure of myself, i had alot of medication question that i hate and dont know and i had alot of select all that apply, i absolutely hate those. i thought i made some dumb mistakes. i worried and hoped i passed and looked up questions i rememberd. i was a nervous wreck and shaky.
6. yes this was my first attempt
1. I had 75 questions (NCLEX-RN)
2. I used the Nursing Made Incredibly Easy Review books and CD, NCLEX RN Gold CD, Stat Nursing Consultant's book Good Thinking: Test Taking and Study Skills for Nursing Students, and a Chicago Press NCLEX review book I borrowed from the library.
3. Our SON used NLN tests, each semester of schooling and each specialty course. I scored from the 85th percentiles to the 99th percentiles. In our final term, Leadership/NCLEX, we took Mosby's Assess test and I scored in the 99th percentile
4. Checked the State boards of nursing results 48 hours and the results were posted.
5. I was really uncertain about the test. No kidding, it was awful. I felt worse after I took the test (and believe me my heart started pounding something fierce around question 73....)
6. Computer shut down at 75 questions and I found out I passed 2 days later. WHOO HOO!!!
The majority of my test seemed to be pharmacy questions (swear at least 20) and 5/6 select all that apply.

2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? I did Kaplan's Complete Online course, which included the course book, diagnostic and readiness tests, content and question videos, the Qtrainers and Qbank. I used the online vs. classroom course because I wanted to go at my own pace.
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? Yes, ATI
4. How long did you wait for your results, or are you still waiting? I waited 48 hours and found out via Quick Results. My name was not on the state board of nursing website until Friday morning (I tested on a Monday).
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed?) I was in total disbelief and was so certain that i had failed. I had my husband and family miserable for 2 days because I was so sure I had failed!!

2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? Hurst Review and it offers a Mock NCLEX after you have throughouly studied the materials and strategies.
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? HESI(terrible terrible) and they offered a 3 day HESI review course
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? I waitied exactly 41 hours after the test my name appeared on the State board of nursing website.
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? I intially felt indifferent thinking wow there was so much i didn't know i needed more questions. Then i thought well i know i got some right so if i was close to failing i hoped the computer would have given me more questions. Over the next 41 hours i bounced back and forth thoughts of passing and failing. I just wasn't sure either way.

2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? NCLEX-RN: Strategies for the Registered Nursing Licensing Exam ...helped tremendously, Kaplan medications in a box, Kaplan Q-bank, Saunders, and NCSBN.
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)?
ATI, but I didn't use it because they don't tell you the questions you get wrong.
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting?
48 hours
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? I thought forsue I failed.

Yes

I got 205 questions.

I used the saunders 2006 cd... No.
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)?
Yes, the ATI but it was useless though.
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting?
It's about 1 month and a week to be exact!!!
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)?
Problematic and was 100% sure that i failed because I was stressed out that I didn't sleep the night before the test.. :o:o

Yes!!! Totally, my first and last NCLEX-LVN... Wohooo!!! Thank God!!!

i took the Kaplan review course, and used lippincot and springhouse 3500 CD-Rom

Numb and stunned.....didn't know what to think....as far as passing or failing

Yes and I passed 75 q's
